PERFECT THERMO!
Great thermo for school lunches!! It keeps the food hot for lunch, has a spot for the spoon (included with purchase) in the lid, and is so easy to clean! I love how durable it is too! My daughter has dropped hers a few times and it’s still works perfectly and didn’t spill. I bought a couple more of the pink ones (love the color) because they’re so great and both of my daughters (3rd grade and middle school) both live using them! Definitely worth the price (which was reasonable)

If you’re not letting boiling water sit in it before you add the hot food, it’s not going to keep the food warm. It’s not supposed to keep it piping hot like it just came off the stove, it’s supposed to keep it warm enough to be comfortable for a child to eat. It’s only supposed to keep it warm for up to five hours so based on some of these reviews, expectations are way too high for a little 10 ounce thermos. Personally, I put boiling water from my electric kettle into it and let it sit while I’m heating up the food and then fill it all the way to the top. If you let air in there it’s going to make the food less warm. I think it’s fine and my daughter loves the snack top and the built-in spoon holder. It’s not a high-quality spoon, but it will do for now.

I bought for 8 y.o child's lunch. It keeps warm if you pour boiled water and let it sit for a while before you put food. It’s hard for kid to open the lid and hard to wash the inside of the lid. Overall I am satisfied with this.

Thought this would be perfect for my daughter’s lunch. I put piping hot food in it at 7 AM, by 11:40 AM. The food is cold. Does not keep food warm! Not even lukewarm… It’s cold.

Keeps Food Cold/Warm
This item does exactly what it is supposed to. When I want to keep items cold I put the jar in the freezer and then fill it with whatever items when I’m ready and they stay cold for at least 5 hours without an ice pack. For hot items, I warm them up and place them in the jar. The hot items stay warm for 5 to 7 hours. Great product for packing lunches.
