My only negative is that the piece it comes with seem a little cheap and won’t hold up very long. Also my husbands big feet definitely don’t fit on the squares.

The 1st time we played with our kiddo and the neighbor's kids (ranging from 3 to 10 in ages) and they all loved it! The other times we've played as a family and just as fun! The directions are simple and I love the versatility as there's not only one way to play but 10 they supply rules for plus you can easily create others so it's easy to adjust difficulty and offers tons of replay ability. The challenge cards are excellent adding both silliness and additional moves keeping things lively. The game comes with 100 challenges, 38 types of stones plus the spinner and everything fits easily back into the box. If you are looking for a family game to challenge dexterity, get everyone up, moving and laughing, and that's entertaining for the younger, the older, and the in between, The Floor is Lava Family Edition is an excellent choice!

I don’t care how tired I am when I walk in the door from a long day of work. When my 6 yr old says the floor is lava it’s on. I love it has a lot of different options/ideas to make this game a blast. We make sure to do something different each time. The rules are very easy and simple to follow. Add your own little twist/tradition to it. When my kids get bored and start bickering with each other I say the floor is lava and all is well. Definitely add this game to your family fun night.

She loves any game that has anything to do with avoiding the lava so this game is perfect! It has multiple options for game ideas as well as age levels and players so it makes it easy to adapt with more people. Definite need in the line up for family game night!

There are several games that are slight variations of other children's games like red light green light that are fun; however the best game included is floor is lava. It’s fun for a few people but there are other games that require more people that we are looking forward to trying. The only real issue with the tiles is that they stick to your feet at times. Overall a fun game.

He had a blast playing it and we were both exhausted from playing it so much. There is so many other ways to play it and he had to try them all out before we quit. They like spinning the spinner. we play this game inside and outside which is cool. My kids use their imagination playing this game which I like. I highly recommend this product!

We are a family of four that includes an 8 year old boy and 7 year old girl and they have a blast playing this. It's easy to set up and follow along to. Quick cleanup as well which is lovely!! I love how many different variations of games you can play. It has brought many hours of fun and laughter to us. My kids also enjoy making up their own versions with the stones!
