Poor design
The top rack squishes the eggs on the bottom rack. There is not enough space between the bottom of the top rack and the top of the eggs on the bottom rack.

Great as a one layer container
This is a great container. Unfortunately, the space between the first and second layer is not sufficient to store a layer of deviled eggs. I will continue to use it as a single layer container.

I Raise hens
I have 9 hens so we have unlimited eggs and therefore deviled eggs are a staple in our home. This seemed like a fabulous idea. The top layer is perfect for my extra large deviled eggs but the second layer doesn't leave much space between the egg and the next plastic holder. As long as I scrape my egg filling flush with the egg white it's not an issue. More yolk filling for the top layer I guess!

The container is a nice size, and the lid has a groove to keep the second tray from sliding. But why is there only one lid?!?! You cannot use the top container as a lid because it smashes the eggs in the bottom container. Seems really odd that it comes with two containers but only one lid. Definitely wish I had known before buying.

What a mess!
I have owned this for several years now and I never use it together. The top layer mashes eggs in the bottom layer. I agree with the customer that wished she could just buy an extra lid. Would be perfect solution. Then they could stack and not mash the eggs!

I NEED ANOTHER LID ?? (""WISH I COULD JUST ORDER JUST ANOTHER LID"") So for now I will just use lid on bottom and cover top layer with press & seal wrap. THE TOP WILL SLIDE ONTO BOTTOM LAYER OF EGGS, OH WHAT A MESS & UGLY EGGS ON BOTTOM.
