I can easily build up the product and let me tell you the hold is amazing and it’s super lightweight. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a gel right now because it’s easily become one of my favorites, and I currently have 4C hair. End it is super hydrating surprisingly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I love how this product (1) slicks/sleeks the hair, (2) softens the hair (3) easy to use (4) it isn’t drying; very moisturizing (5) quickly absorbs (6) curls the hair beautifully (7) it isn’t sticky! The smell is okay, smells like gel, no added fragrance. It doesn’t lay down edges though… but I’m good with everything else that it offers. I recommend 100% especially for kids with stubborn coils lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is cute. I was surprised to see the shimmer inside the gel when I initially opened it, but it’s pretty and different. Tied well with the block party theme. I know I have 4c hair, but it doesn’t define my hair as much as I would like. No overpowering smell, lightweight, just not compatible for my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must for your twist/braid out styles. My style lasted a full seven days and the frizz was at a minimum. I love the texture and their were no flakes. My hair remained soft and set without crunchiness.

The product is lightweight and smells really good. The packaging is cute and comes with a music playlist you can download, so I thought that was neat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a sensitive dry scalp. It feels like your almost creamy, not like a gel. I did have quite a bit of residue on my fingers. Overall it's a great curl activator , dries quickly and held up to the elements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this product is great for someone that has trouble defining their coils. It does provide shine to your hair. The wetter your hair is the better. I am not a fan of how it clumps your coils together. And you have to wait until fully dry to manipulate your coils and separate them. I am more of an air dry girlie but I diffused just to be able to separate my coils. Again if you have issues defining your coils this could be amazing for you! Or if you prefer to shorten your styling time as it kinda does the work of a leave in, styler and oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great for wash n gos when you want to define your curls, and not have them shrink up so much. I noticed some shrinkage, which is to be expected, but not much. When the product dries, it creates a little bit of a cast that you can fluff out with no product flaking, so that's a plus. The jar is pretty big, so this should last me a while granted I don't have much hair at the moment lol

It’s not heavy but just right not to make my hair shrivel up. My hair absorbs this product extremely well! I am a super fan after this… the scent is not pretty but not bad either…

Does not smell like most other Doux products - smell is much more faint. I like the product but as always, I have issues combining it with non-Doux products. I was able to wash it out without too much trouble or stickiness.

I received this product a few weeks ago and I took it with me to my vacation in Atlanta although we’re in the winter time it is a lot more humid just in general coming from the north. Not to mention traveling typically drives my hair out, but with this defining jail, I found that my hair truly stayed in place and it held it shape wonderfully. I think this product is great on its own.

The scent is very neutral compared to the other products the Doux offers. The packing is very cute and simple, and there’s a lot of product in the jar! I want to try it with my Doux mousse and see how that goes.
