The Doux Block Party - Act Right Anti-Humidity Serum - 2oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did a great job with maintaining my frizzy hair in my regular bun style. I love in a very humid state and my hair NEVER lasts a full day so finding a good gel is always a struggle for me. Pairing my hair gel with this serum has saved me so much frustration and product loss. I applied it once in the morning and by evening my hair was still fairly slicked down as in the morning. I’ve included what a normal soft bun looks like with the serum and without it, enjoy lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a straight natural & I wear my hair mostly in a silk press. This product helped my hair to not become puffy as quick as it usually does. The serum is a bit thick. 2 pumps for a full silk press, .5-1 pump per section for Bantu knots. Used for a silk press & Bantu knots, my Bantu knots came out perfect.

This is really good for taming down any frizz. I use this as the final step in the whole block party collection. You definitely don’t need a lot. Just a small amount and add the finishing touches on the hair creating that visible shine

As someone that stretches their hair after every wash&go, this product is what takes the system to the next level for me. The shine that Act Right adds is unmatched. You'll look like you just walked out of a salon. This serums is very lightweight and glides onto the strands seamlessly.

I was nervous at first because the product felt like it was heavy and would weight my hair down but it actually still had body. Looked oilier than I like but I would take it to keep a nice silk press.

I love that it smoothes my hair cuticles so I end up with soft, shiny, and flawless looking hair. It’s not too heavy and doesn’t weight down my hair. It gives my hair just the perfect amount of shine and polish that last all day!

The serum is not sticky which is great but I do find that it is a tad this when applied to the hair just a tad. I like the shine it gives. My hair is softer too after applying. It works good for my straight hair with the humidity. This is a product I would repurchase.

Big box for a small package but I was so happy for what was in side . The bottle is small but come with a pump that comes out with a small amount for your hair that can go all over the hair roots to ends.

It comes in a 2 ounce bottle with a hand pump. The serum doesn’t have a scent to me. It is lightweight in consistency. It is not sticky when using. I applied it to my hair after adding other products to it. I like how the serum feels. It adds a little shine and it helped with my frizzy hair on the sides. I’m sure it would even be better when using after flat ironing my hair.
