For the heating function, press and hold the power button to activate heating; the indicator light will illuminate green when heating and red when the battery level is below 20%. If the power button flashes red when you try to turn it on, the battery is fully depleted and needs to be recharged. About what it's worth

I bought this to test out before giving as a gift. Upon a full charge, this heats up very quick. The light and wrist strap are convenient. However, fully charged, I only get about 2 hours of usage before the light turns red and ultimately shuts off. I expected at least the 4 hours advertised, but 2 is all you can expect. To conclude, great if you need a quick warm up, wrong item if you need a longer use outdoors.

I recently bought one of these little hand warmers due to the cold settling in for the winter. Very ease to use and small enough to carry in a pocket if need be. Also, it gets warm fast! With several days in the 30s already (and evenings being worse!), this has probably been one of the best purchases I've made in years.

Da best -USB Hand Warmer

Its compact and sized personal (not bulky and lightweight/USB makes it even more efficient (no batteries yay!)....I live in Mt. View Hawaii and it's been getting pretty cold. I highly recommend this hand warmer it is really a cool item to own!

Winter must have!

This thing is awesome. It heats up in under a minute. Puts the chemical ones to shame. It’s also nice that you can turn it off if you don’t need it anymore. This is going to be great for walking the dog when it’s cold out
