Bad battery batch - buyer beware
There seems to be a problem with these calculators. I am unsure if it is just TI Nspire's that are from Target or all of them but, like other reviewers have said, the battery does not charge and remains at the critical level, shutting down as soon as it is unplugged. We returned and tried again, but same thing, there seems to be a bad batch that TI (or Target?) is not acknowledging. We have gone through a lot of troubleshooting, but nothing works.

Be aware of calculator.
This calculator is exactly what my daughter needed unfortunately it never turned on. The battery does not hold charge. We returned it and bought a new one and it did the exact same thing. We had to buy a separate battery to see if the calculator would work. Also we paid more online for the calculator than in the store.

License activation is a joke
In order to link this to a computer, you have to create an account with Texas Instruments, download their software, and purchase a software subscription. The process of activating the software is maddening. If you're wishing to use the more advanced features of this calculator, you'll be paying even more money and subjecting yourself to a very frustrating experience. Companies that behave like this should be put out of business. This is the last time I ever waste my money on their products.

arrived in about 2 days. no damage or anything else wrong with it. works just fine and is super helpful for someone in school. for all that it does, the price isn’t awful either.
