Excellent substitute for coffee. It does expand so care must be taken when filling a pod. One Tablespoon works. In a drip, I make 4- 8oz with 2 T. Different flavors are fun too.

If you like chicory you might find this product acceptable. I don't care for chicory so this is a bitter brew in my opinion.

Best If You Love Black Coffe
I drink a lot of Teeccino. This is my hands down pick if you love straight, black, coffee mud. lol. Though it has a hint still of carob, if you need to get away from regular or decaf coffee, this really gets close in taste!

Great Product, Awesome Price
I've seen this product in many places, but never at a better price than Swanson. The "coffee" tastes great. I like it both hot and iced, and have even used it to make some iced/blended shakes.

coffee alternative
This is made out of great organic foods - carob, ramon nuts, chicory and barley plus coffee flavor. You will be amazed at how much it taste like coffee but it is not acidic like coffee. Just don't use as much because it will be way too strong. Follow instructions on package for the amount and then use a little less. Good alternative to coffee.
