The smooth, tempered glass weighing platform is easy to clean by wiping with a soapy rag and drying thoroughly. Q: Will the display stay on for a few seconds after removing the item? Weighing small packages but they will cover display during use.

Gone Downhill
Cheap plastic junk. It’s going back tomorrow. Doesn’t weigh anything accurately. I just despise the fact they switched from the big thick button cell batteries to triple A’s, which most corrode and ruin stuff these days. The button cell in my last scale never died, or corroded. It was an 8 lb scale that was much better and heavier duty. This scale feels like I got it off the $1 shelf. I’d rather pay a little more for a much better scale. I knew this brand and thought it would be fine. Don’t waste your time.

Simple and Straight Forward
I got this to replace an old weighing scale and will not be going back to my old one. The main reason I got this is for baking, and it was a great option as you can measure out ingredients down to the gram if desired. It looks modern, functions well, and comes ready to use with batteries. The scale portion is glass (or something similar), which makes it easy to wipe down, and you can store it on its side to save space. However, it doesn't include a bowl for weighing your ingredients, so I would buy something small and lightweight if you don't already have one at home.

Built to break in 1 year or less
Bought this taylor scale twice, this one lasted like 6 months, last time it lasted a year. (Yes i changed the batteries). These are crap scales. Also the measures are a bit high, I’d agree with the person who said they arent exactly accurate, the measurements are a bit high. These are $25-30 and are not built to last. I wish target sold another brand, I’d buy something else. It does have fl oz. On it which is nice but you end up with twice the fl oz of a glass measuring cup so the accuracy is questionable.

Does not measure lbs
Weight capacity is stated to be 11 lbs but it does not have lbs as a unit option. Only does oz, g, ml, and fl oz. I should’ve read more closely. Although, the box does state pounds oddly enough. Other than that, it seems nice.
