A: Hi Justine, I just bought one today and it rounds to the nearest gram. After using a few times we love it and are going to buy another-for 15 bucks you can't go wrong unless you need more precision.

Q: The tare/power button is confusing. When you press it, it seems to zero out the weight with every addition of items to the scale. It would be really great to have some instructions.

It works, kind of. Gave inconsistent readings. Like others said, it was difficult to tare. Pressing the tare button would sometimes trigger changing the unit of measure or it would change to a random number instead of returning to 0. It's also difficult to see the weight measure when you have a mixing bowl on it.

Auto shut off feature is a problem
I’ve been using this scale consistently since I bought it and the number one problem is the auto shut off feature. They really shouldn’t be one too many times I’ve been in the middle of spooning in my ingredients for measurement and it turns off. Not good. It also has trouble remembering the measurement you left it on. Lastly, but not as important is to turn it off. You need to press it until it turns off and the numbers go crazy because you’re pushing it beyond its weight capacity. This is a scale that needs work. If you could just get the auto shut off to go away, I would add two more stars.

Terrible scale
Terrible scale, do not buy. I bought a pack of meat labeled 3.2 lbs and it told me total weight was 2.15. It’s not reliable. It shows different weights when you measure same thing multiple times. It’s really hard to get it to show pounds and ounces and difficult to read.

I was really excited to use this scale for measuring kitchen ingredients mostly because it looked like it was easy to use and even better, easy to clean. The more I use the thing, the more it infuriates me. It’s hard to get tare to work at all. You can sit and touch the button over and over and over and it will not tare, it’ll shut off on ya sometimes but it will not zero for anything. Adding insult to injury, it also shuts off in the middle of measuring ingredients, completely defeating the purpose of having a scale in the first place. I definitely do not recommend this - get something else.

Don’t recommend. Turns off after 1.5 minutes and doesn’t save your latest measurement. Half the time it doesn’t measure salt or will tell me different numbers when I pour the same amount into different containers.

Frustrating to use
Scale turns off when you are trying to use it. But the buttons don’t work well so can be difficult to tare, turn off, or switch units. Wish I would’ve spent ten extra dollars for a better scale
