Swiss Diamond Round Tempered Glass Lid

I bought the 14inch lid to go on a 14in cast iron skillet. I measured my skillet rim several times to be sure of its measurements. The lid didn't fit. The rim/lip of the lid sat right on the rim of the pan rather than the rim nestling just inside the pan rim. It wasn't safe to keep it because the lid could easily slip off the pan rim. I returned the lid. Had it fit, I would've kept it because I liked that the vent was controllable. I didn't want a lid with a permanent vent hole in the glass. I was bummed this didn't fit. So, I'm giving it 3 stars because it's a decent lid but the description isn't clear because it didn't fit a 14inch pan. Also, nearly $60 for a glass lid is ridiculous but it was the only one I could find without a hole in the glass. Wish it fit but oh well.
