Sam Lloyd was born in the north of England but migrated to sunny Brighton, UK. She works on art projects with children at a local school, and paints large murals. She has written and illustrated a number of books for children, including Mr. Pusskins, which won several awards and was a New York Times bestseller. Her passions range from swimming and gardening to traveling the world, where she has found much of the inspiration for her books.
