TEA FOR TWO
Yerba Mate has been a popular herb for Centuries in South America. The leaves are brewed into a nice tea. I like it. It has always been used for physical and mental energy, and still is, because it works and tastes fine. There was a time when I thought the capsules might fit into my herb capsule group. Taking several at a time does seem to produce the desired results; however, that is several more capsules I decided I didn't want to take when there was an excellent alternative. . . . Yerba Mate Tea.

Yerba
I take Yerba Mate a few 2 to 3 times a day. I feel more energetic and I feel like exercising more often and I want to do more walking and using public transportation like I did in college

Not What Expected
If you take 200 mg and more of caffeine everyday you may be disappointed if you try to substitute yerba mate. It seems to take a lot of mate to equal 100mg of caffeine. Also I'm not happy about the way yerba mate makes me feel. I don't understand all the positive reviews on this stuff.

Maybe Not For Me
I heard this is one of the best supplements for curbing appetite. However, while it didn't seem to affect my appetite much, it made feel me oddly hungry all day... even right after I had eaten. I'm not sure if it was real hunger or just the way my stomach felt. In addition, they make my stomach actually burn within a couple minutes. It's a strange sensation... It's a side-effect I appear to have gotten that many people may not. As for energy... the effect isn't very noticeable either way for me. I don't want to make any statements that could easily be a placebo effect. For what you're buying, the price is good, so if you're already taking yerba mate, you might want to make the switch. If not, this is my experience.

I was thrilled to discover Yerba Mate and it's effectiveness. I've returned to college as an "older" student, and have discovered that this product provides, for me, energy and clarity. Though it has a natural element of caffine, it is not like drinking a cup of coffee. It is the mental clarity that caught my attention, and has become a part of my daily suppliment routine.

My wife and I order from swansons every month and we tried this last month. WOW! Talk about energy, but without the gitters. It definitely curbs your appetite to the point I had to actually make myself eat! And trust me, I love to eat (almost too much) so that was nice. You'll save in food cost what this bottle cost you. You cant go wrong for the money. Just order some and experience it for yourself!

Convenient form of an ancient energizer with extra health benefits. I'm frequently too busy to take time to make the tea form of this product, but the capsules are very convenient and effective. I take one with breakfast and one at lunch to give me extra zip for the day without the jitters other products sometimes cause.
