Very helpful
This has worked great for me so far. My only problem is I do not want to take melatonin every night. I wanted to alternate taking it with just melatonin, but since it has 3 grams melatonin in it, that doesn’t work. Will have to find something else.

Deep sleep
I never write a review but wanted people to know how well this product works for me. I’ve struggled with poor sleep for years and have tried everything including over the counter to natural options and had about given up. I decided to see what Swanson had and I’ve been just amazed at its consistency and reliability. I no longer have to endure a hangover the next day and my Apple Watch tells me I’m getting anywhere from 2-4hrs of deep sleep now compared to the maybe half hour otherwise and I’m getting 7-8hrs a night of quality sleep compared to 5or6 . I’m 68 and was having to nap to maintain any mental acuity now I rarely nap. I’ve been taking it now for 3months and it still delivers a wonderful night sleep. Thank you Swanson for a good nights sleep.

Not so groggy.
Straight melatonin gives me what I call "a melatonin hang over" the next day. The combination of other sleep inducing/calming ingredients in this product seem to mitigate the impact of the melatonin, thus eliminating the next day grogginess. The taurine in this product does not have a stimulant effect. The reason it is in energy drinks is based on weak research showing taurine combined with caffeine impacts mental clarity.

Great product!
These are great! They knock you out after about 20-30 minutes after taking and you wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. Several of my friends with sleep issues said they work great for them as well.

Taurine makes my heart race
The Taurine in it made my heart race so I could not go to sleep. Would probably work great if they took this common energy drink ingredient OUT of it!!

Not for me
I've discovered these do not work for me. If I take one prior to bedtime (usually around 10 pm, I am guaranteed to wake up just before midnight...and will lay awake for a couple hours minimum before dozing back off. I have kept a log of this pattern/taking Sleep Essentials for about a month now...they definitely DON'T work with my chemistry.

I've had sleep issues my entire life, I bought this with skepticism but it actually helps me sleep through the night. I also had my homeopathic Dr test it against me and it registered as good and received her approval!

Got my life back!!
This stuff has given me my life back. I only use it a couple of times a week or else I feel kinda depressed the next day and I found out that is normal if you use melatonin every night. I also just take 1/3 capsule or less. I love Sleep Essentials!!

Sleep Essentials wouldn't be without them!
I have a lot of trouble falling asleep, now that I have started taking Sleep Essentials I fall asleep almost immediately instead of tossing and turning. Sleep Essentials also helps to keep me asleep through out the night. I wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I also sent a couple bottles to my son who was having trouble sleeping and he found them to work well for him also. I would recommend them to anyone who has difficulty sleeping, especially to the elderly who have low melatonin levels, I am 72 and wouldn't be without my Sleep Essentials!

Restful Sleep
I bought it to help with falling asleep. I was taking 3 mg melatonin which helped me fall asleep but I sometimes I would be wide awake in 4 hours. The Sleep Essential helped me fall asleep and stay asleep longer.Re

I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS FALLING ASLEEP, I BOUGHT THESE PILLS TO HOPEFULLY LENGTHEN MY SLEEP. I USUALLY ONLY GET ABOUT 2 AND I/2 HOURS SLEEP INIALLLY , THEN WAKE UP AND HAVE A TOUGH TIMES GETTING BACK TO SLEEP. SO FAR THE PILLS HAVE NOT BEEN ANY HELP IN LENGTHENING MY INITIAL AND ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS OF SLEEP. WISH I HAD A BETTER REPORT.

I've always been a skeptic with these sorts of things. I just recently (within the past few months) started to have trouble sleeping. I'm one of those who if I don't get enough sleep am very cranky the next day. So I figured why not! And I have to say that these really do work. Aside from waking up to go to the bathroom, I now sleep through the night. It's amazing!
