Helped the weakness in my right arm
I was told by my dr to take high doses OF ALA (I take 1200 mg every day) for my thoracic outlet syndrome. It took a few months but the intermittent heaviness and extreme weakness I was having in my right arm has stopped. For 7 years I lived with it because no doctors could figure it out, but now I finally have a solution. I attribute it to the ALA.

No difference
I was recommended these for nerve pain. I noticed no difference. But everyone is different so even though they didn’t work for me, they might work for others.

Still waiting for change.....
It's been 3 weeks of taking this every day. So far, no noticeable difference, but the information I read on this substance said it could be 3 weeks to 9 months before any change is noticed. So, I'll keep on with it. It does give me terrible heartburn if I don't drink enough water with it, so be sure and drink a full glass of water with it!

Had trouble with the vit.B complex and discontinued it. The ALA was to work with the B and others but so far no results, but no problems. Will try B complex again at a later date.

I find the capsules quite large to swallow. They feel like they are stuck in my throat. Just after swallowing, I feel a burning like acid reflux. I have to eat something to make it settle down. I know it's a valuable supplement, but would like an easier way to get it down.
