    No tension for the first 12 to 18 inches of travel

    I do like this rower, easy to put together and smooth operation. Resistance is adjustable, with a setting of 12 changeling. That said this issue I have is there is no tension for the first 12 to 18 inches of travel from the bottom. If I pump the arms two or three times while at the bottom the tension does improve. Of course that takes away from the effectiveness of the exercise. Maybe the hydralice cylinder is defective?

    Streaming the Olympics, I became fascinated by the sculling events, so thought to look up rowing machines. I had only ever rowed a few times in a canoe. Full motion was the only option that interested me, the price was very reasonable, so I took my chances. Haven't looked back! Very smooth operation and very quiet.     Great machine, but I want to oil it to stop noise

    I like this machine, but it does seem to be creaking a bit as I use it. I feel like it should be oiled somehow. How do I go about doing this?

    I love it! It’s the only rower I can find that actually replicates rowing! It’s quiet but sturdy - my grandkids are always using it because it’s so easy to row. It’s fun and I have found tons of YouTube videos for virtual rowing.

    3 years, still going strong!

    This is a fantastic entry-level rowing machine. I bought mine 3 years ago to keep in kayaking shape through the winter, and it has performed great! I was surprised that such an economical machine would perform so well for so long! Really phenomenal value for the low price.

    So far very good!

    I received this rower thru an employer wellness program. The machine was super easy to assemble and takes up a very compact space. When used as directed it does provide a comfortable light resistance cardio workout while helping stretch or activate certain areas. So far I have used it as a morning quick 5 min stretch to start the day or a 15min longer exercise on less hectic days. I have noticed that at times if the intensity of pace gets to high the resistance does fade as the hydronic shock/ fluid heats up. That is a bit of a let down but if the pace is kept a slow rate it preforms well. I really love the range of motion to really get the most out of every workout.
