Very squishy and soft, but it doesn't go back to original shape. You just have to put it ona solid surface a bunch of times on each side. I put a 4 star review because it came in the actual target box, but the cheese was just in some paper

I would not recommend buying this it was fun at first but the bottom busted didn’t even last 48 hours!! If it wouldn’t have busted I would have gave it a 5 stars review! But overall the slime inside is honestly more enjoyable than the cheese squishy!

Not what I thought
I thought this was a one solid piece of foam like material, or something that you could squeeze and smash, and it would go back to it's original shape, but it's not. There is a firm smashable, dough like core that is separate from the outside rubber cheese. It just balls up and never goes back to it's original shape. There is also air inside. The outside rubber cheese does, but not the core. I got a deal on it and my son enjoyed it for a bit, otherwise I'd probably return it.

A little disappointed that it doesn’t return to its original shape on its own, but still satisfying to squish. The outer wall being disconnected and separate from the inner material is a little dissatisfying, but not a deal breaker for $5.
