Sunbeam 1520 W Handheld Travel Steamer

I purchased this steamer due its variable voltage which would be safe to use here in the US and in Europe. When folded it's still bigger than I expected, but probably still saves space in a suitcre. The reservoir is big enough for just 1 garment before needing to be refilled. The button is a little confusing to know when it's on cponstant steam or if it needs to be held down to steam.

Very efficient and portable. It’s durable for its size and versatile. Feels solid but not heavy and pushes out plenty of steam. It’s easy to use for the busy traveler. It even comes with a cute little bag to store it in so I can put it in my drawer with ease. It’s the best thing ever.

I have wanted a steamer for some time and this one arrived just in time for spring cleaning. This is a swell powerful little gadget. Lightweight yet durable. It is easy to fill and operate. I most appreciate the long swivel cord, auto ready light/shutoff features and that it heats up quickly - much hotter than I expected. This dual voltage steamer puts out a lot of continuous steam that effortlessly removes wrinkles and creases. I think it is reasonably priced. The bristle brush attachment is also handy and the drawstring travel bag is nice for storing/packing. I found the owner's guide very helpful. I will recommend and take this foldable compact steamer on my upcoming travel adventures.

At first,I was confused when I opened the box because it was literally the item packaged in the box. There was no official packaging with the steamer inside of it. Then I realized when I went to fill the section where the water goes into that there were water droplets in it as though it had been used before. I do not doubt that this steamer on particular had been used before and then repackaged prior to being sent to me for testing. I turned it on after reviewing the instructions to steam my dress, which I was unable to do because the steamer did not work. Steam never came out of it. Influenster not only gave me a used product but also a defective product. This was incredibly disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steamer works great! It is quick to heat up and easy to use. The dual voltage makes it great for traveling to other countries. The only downside that is that still is a little large even when folded up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It heats up in 25 seconds and can provide up to 7 minutes of continuous steam. The good thing is its dual voltage and travel friendly. It gets very hot so it only handle is the one that can be touched. And the handle folds quite easily so there is a chance of hand burn.

It holds a decent amount of water to steam your clothes, so it’s good if you just need to steam an outfit but would need to be refilled if you have a lot of clothes or lots of deep/stubborn wrinkles. I love it, and will definitely be using this regularly.

It took forever to warm up to a useable heat which has not been my experience with other travel steamers. The instruction manual lacks any clear usage tips other than filling the water reservoir.

Not sure what could change, but feels like there’s not much keeping you safe from the hot plate. It’s very exposed, and needs some sort of protection. Also wish the included bag was a bit larger.
