These are the absolute worst. I have a protein coffee every morning which isn’t hot, just warm and they literally melt away. Having to use 3-4 straws to finish one drink is so incredibly wasteful

Compostable straws at a decent price
I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are compostable straws. I purchased these for a work lunch in a pinch and wondered about the higher price. Reading the box, the price is justified. I usually spend twice as much when I buy compostable straws online - and these are much sturdier than those tend to be. Still, compared to disposable plastic, these might seem brittle. Overall this is a good value, and I’ll continue buying these!

Price gouging
I checked my purchase history and these were $2.59 in April 2024, but now they’re $4.39 in June 2025. These used to be even cheaper and I believe they were even in the dollar section. With this price gouging and corporate greed, I won’t buy these anymore and encourage others not to either.
