Loud drawers
Product looks fine, but I don’t understand why the drawer tracks are so loud. Anytime I open and close the drawer, all I hear are the metallic tracks clicking. This defeats the purpose of it being in a nursery room where you need it to be quiet.

Hello Bailey, We can assure you that the stain we use in our products is non-toxic and water based. New product can sometimes give off an odor called off gassing, after it has been confined in a box from new. This does not normally last more than a few days, however to help dissipate this odor, we would suggest keeping the room well ventilated until the odor has gone and to wipe the product down with a damp cloth, then dry with a different cloth. If the odor persists, please reach out to the Customer Care Team at Storkcraft.

Delivery went well and no damage like other reviews mention. Assembly was pretty straight forward. The drawers are loud when they open and close but not a big deal to me. Provides plenty of space for newborn clothes and more to grow into. Looks perfect in our nursery and couldn’t be happier!

White/Neutral Dresser
The dresser is beautiful. I wish I would have known how loud all of the drawers were when opening before purchasing. It has a locking mechanism that only allows one drawer open at a time that is nice. However, I believe this is what is causing the noise. One drawer in particular is extremely loud due to the force needed to open. There is nothing blocking this drawer so not sure why it is tougher to pull open. This worries me it will wake up my child if I need anything from the drawers. I would prefer a wall latch over the drawer locking mechanism.

Beautiful Design
The dresser is beautiful. However, due to the locking system the drawers have, it is pretty noisy in my opinion. One drawer in particular is tough to open and loud due to the force needed to open. There is not anything blocking the locking system so not sure what the cause is. Worried this will be inconvenient if I need to open drawers while baby sleeps. The locking system does provide peace of mind, but I would prefer to have purchased a dresser with a wall latch instead due to noise before assembling.

Good Dresser!
Bought the California dresser for my son’s toddler room. It took a few hours to put together but directions were clear and organized. The only downside is every time you close the drawer it makes a clicking sound which is annoying. I think it’s because of the locking system, but annoying to hear all the time. The green color is beautiful and we’re looking forward to using this dresser for years to come!

A timeless piece

I know the theme of the Storkcraft brand is for nursery’s and younger children but these pieces are so modern, so classic and beautiful that they really don’t have an age limit. I LOVE THIS DRESSER! When I tell you this is the most beautiful as well as the color is just perfect. One of the most incredible features of this dresser I love is the safety mechanism on the drawers ( this is an option to switch drawers). Only one drawer can open at once preventing a child from trying to climb the drawers. Which gives me a huge peace of mind! I love this feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you can get the box out of your car (143 pounds) it’s great! The assembly was simple but takes a little time. I assembled it with the help of my 12 year old, so it was fairly easy (it took a few hours). It’s a great height and 6 drawers are the perfect amount of storage. Heavy duty and nice feeling piece. At least 6 steps above ikea!

Very cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I didn’t realize this dresser was originally designed for a nursery when I claimed it but it turned out to be a great choice!😅 It’s very sturdy, well made, and looks beautiful in my space. Assembly took about three hours but everything came together perfectly — no chips dents, or paint issues at all it does have a scuff at the bottom left drawer but that might’ve been my fault when moving it to my room. NOW, It did have a bit of a fresh wood smell at first, but that faded over time. Overall, it’s a high-quality dresser that feels durable and looks great in any room!!

Good security, good size, bad wood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly was easy, however , the wood was so bad, the drawers one chipped, and one more i had to glue part of it! And i didn't date use electric tools! The good thing about it is the security mechanism that allows you to open only one drawer at a time, prefect for kids! I also noticed the wood discolored! It's not dust, i wiped it away, and it did not go, shown in picture. I just hope it's not fungal!
