Bottom of tray is hard to clean
The bottom of the tray grows mold and has to be deep cleaned frequently. The bottom of the tray has a very very intricate design and hard to clean.

Not stoked for this stokke
This is a review mainly for Target. We purchased this expensive chair and were excited to receive it. However upon delivery we notice tape is open, and the shipping label stated that it is from a “returns center” meaning this item is not new. Contacted Target and they said we can return it and I also told them that I used my discount code on it, and they said they can’t return my discount code unless I bring it into their store for a replacement. Very inconvenient for an expectant mother. Very disappointed in Target.

Get the chair!! You will not regret it! I wish I had gotten it with my first 2 years ago, but so happy to have it for my toddler and newborn now. It will be with us for many years. So comfortable and safe. Love all of the color options, and you can not go wrong with its timeless design. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture!!!

Mealtime Nostalgia!
We really love our Tripp Trapp. It’s become such a natural part of our everyday life. From sharing lunch with her big sister to sitting right up at the table like a big girl, it’s one of those things we use without even thinking about it. The design is beautiful, but even more than that, it just works. It grows with her, fits right into our home, and makes mealtime feel like family time every time.

Highly, highly recommend. We got the warm brown beechwood and it is one of my favorite additions to our home. It’s sturdy, beautiful, and has already become a little spot where so many memories are made.

Perfect for a newborn!
My 5 day old baby already loves his chair! We put him in it when we’re hanging out on the couch and want him nearby us. It’s super compact and comfy for him - he always seems content when snuggled in his chair. We also bring it to our dining room table so he can sit with us while we eat dinner. I’m so excited that this chair will grow with him. Can’t recommend it enough - the quality is incredible, it’s super sturdy and makes us feel like our baby is safe, and he is well supported and comfy.

Not user friendly to clean
I’ve been a nanny for over 30 years and have never encountered such a horrible high chair as this one. I gave it one star for looks and the attempt for multi purpose but it is a beast to try to take apart to clean and the buckles are stiff and bulky which seems uncomfortable for the baby.

Long lasting comfort and durability!
Love love this high chair! It goes really nice with our decor and fits up right to our dining room table. We used it with our first child and now we are using it again with our second. We never had to buy a new one. It’s very durable and has been lasting us quite a few years.

We love our Tripp Trapp high chair so much for our toddler that we had to get another one for our newborn! The newborn bundle is awesome. it keeps our little one safe and cozy, and I love having them up at the table with the rest of the family. It makes mealtime so much easier and more fun. Totally worth it!

I love that the Tripp Trapp grows with your child so that we can get many years of use out of it. The Natural Oak wood is beautiful and very well made. It was easy to put together, too. I can't wait to use this when our baby arrives in a few months!

Been using the Stokke Tripp Trapp for a while now and honestly… it’s so good. Super solid, easy to clean, and looks so aesthetic in my kitchen. I love that my 3 month old can sit right at the table with us — it just makes meals feel more connected. And the fact that it grows with them? Feels like one of the few baby things that’s actually worth the investment. My 2 year old also loves sitting in his Tripp Trapp. So easy for him to get on and off on his own! Beautiful, functional, safe, and actually lasts.

So versatile!
We’ve loved our Stokke Tripp Trapp from the start! We used it as my son’s high chair from the time he was a baby, and now that he’s older, we’re still getting use out of it as a regular chair at the table. It’s incredibly versatile, grows with your child, and has such a clean, timeless look. Definitely worth the investment for something that lasts through so many stages!

The worst!
A true nightmare to clean. This was number one on my baby registry and was gifted the entire kit and kaboodle. It is an absolute nightmare to click and unclick the small tiny mechanisms to disassemble the chair to clean. And if you’re not instantly wiping off food, you can expect to get your chisel out. Will sell and purchase something that doesn’t require tools and fingers of steel to clean.

Best High Chair
This is the best high chair! Our daughter loves it! She is safe with the harness & supper comfy with the adjustable seat & footplate. We look how light weight it is so we can move it to different parts of the house! Also loving the Terracotta color! Highly recommend!!

Sturdy but suction bowls don’t stick to tray
Nice sturdy chair, but we can’t find any bowls that suction to this tray. I don’t know what it’s made out of but it’s a problem that our entire moms group has. Just an FYI. It makes it hard to have good feeding experience. Also if you have a large dog (we have gold retriever) it isn’t tall enough to keep his nose off of..he loves it, but we thought it was taller

Safety Hazard - Broken Clip on Baby Set No Locks
We have been using our Trip Trap chair with baby set as well as the add on seat cushion. All seemed OK until I noticed today our child was able to pull the baby seat out of the seat plate. This is a significant safety hazard - the seat is supposed to clip into the seat plate and did for a while. However the plastic clip has now apparently worn out and does not lock into place. This part is not listed for sale under spare parts - but should be immediately replaced under warranty or voluntary recall program. The seat cushion design with the back straps for the baby harness is absolutely terrible - hard to remove in order to clean and wash it. Could have been much simpler to clean more Velcro around the rear harness straps.

If the front rail no longer clips in, it's likely due to improper placement, which can strain the chair and prevent proper function. We recommend reviewing the Tripp Trapp User Guide (digital version available) to ensure the setup meets the recommended parameters. A new Baby Set may not resolve the issue if the setup isn't adjusted correctly. Had 2 for twins. Not a fan.
The tray is so annoying to snap on and off. Babysitter couldn’t figure it out and the clip broke. The straps are also really awkward and don’t make for an easy on off. Sturdy and wipes fine. The Clikk high chair is way better. Wish the Tripp Trapp tray was built differently.
