Q: can I just use this alone in the bathtub or do I need to put it in a smaller tub?

  • A: The newborn support attaches to the Stokke Flexibath Tub and can only be used with the tub. It cannot be used alone.

I wish I were able to look at some reviews for this item before purchasing. We have the bath which works just fine for our young kids because we don't have a bathtub in the house. With a newborn coming the pictures looked like it would work fine. It just doesn't suit us well. Baby finds it uncomfortable and it is pretty small too
