The lights and bright enough to feel like you are one of the Star Wars characters! I am impressed of the technology they put in this to be as great toy as is! It is super cool looking because of the dual blade and I love that you can modify it various ways to get different looks, such as putting on the circle guard or leaving it off. The extra bonus is that you get to assemble the parts of the lightsaber yourself. Makes for imagining that you are a Padawan in training feel a bit more realistic! The sound effects are realistic and sensitive to motion. They react to swings and strikes, just like in the movies. All the pieces easily twist together and can be separated with quick-release buttons for individual play. It is worth noting that only one saber has sounds, as illustrated in the manual, but this doesn't take away from the fun. The sturdy arched handles help to avoid dropping the double saber while performing spin maneuvers. Their flexible plastic clips make them easy to pop on and off of the saber grips. This product is made of high-quality materials and it has been very durable. It has tolerated many hits during battles. This really is a fun toy for any age. My kids haven't stopped playing with it. I got this for my 9-year-old but my teenager often enjoys taking it away from him to play with. They usually like to separate it and each take one of the sabers and engage in battle. Even my husband tried it out and generously took the time to demonstrate to me how it is used. Plus, this premium toy can even be combined with other lightsaber forge sets. It makes a great gift for any child, and it is perfect for Star Wars fans. This lightsaber has been a lot of fun and will surely give our family years of entertainment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun toy I've always wanted one and I finally got 1. It was pretty simple to put together the middle piece however is a little weird. It's a duel end sword. It requires batteries which is easy to put is it to put in and it makes noises and it lights up which adds to the fun of the experience. So far I really love it.

It is very versatile too since you can use it as two singles or one big awesome double sided. It's a little tricky to figure out the assembly the first time, but as soon as you figure out where the pieces clip together it is pretty easy.
