Stamina AeroPilates Reformer Pilates machine

The workout DVDs did not work in dvd reader on laptop or portable reader on MacBook.

I absolutely love my recently purchased reformer. I purchased it the middle Feb 2025. I’ve been on it everyday, taking a one day rest day each week. That is even hard to do. I want to be on my reformer all the time. It is so easy to use and you will start seeing results in no time. More energy, more toned. It’s an all over body workout without the stress on your body.

I bought this machine and thought I was using it wrong because the rope kept burning me during even the most basic movements. But turns out it's 'Supposed' To be like that. There's no compatible height bars to fix the problem (that I know of) If there is, please let me know and I can change my rating because other than that it's a great machine. However, The rope make it impossible to use

It is heavy and needs some installation, but the instructions were great, and all the parts were in my box even though the box was pretty beat up when it arrived. You will need 2 people putting rebound board together as it's stronger than me. Otherwise, it was pretty easy and I'm well over 70.

Great basic reformer for the price. Some noise, some discomfort, but a great starter machine.

Nothing like a Pilates Workout....although keep in mind if your floor is not level it will bump, mine does....so I have to continually move it over my old pine floors

I love this thing! Works well and it's affordable! I was nervous due to other people's reviews that I might be missing a DVD or a bolt, but no, I got everything and my son put together the thing for me. I love the exercises. It feels like cheating because I'm either laying down or sitting the entire time! Great purchase!

It is a great work out. I had back and leg pain. It is gone. Since I am under 5 feet it’s a great length. I guess a little wider would have been nice. For the price great machine

I bought mine second hand and wished I had read the previous review. There are no height bars for the pulley cords which meAns you get burnt by the cords as they run against the skin not up in the air. Such a shame as love the rebounder bit. Why was it designed like this?.. its useless to advance from very basic work.

I love the machine. Or, I thought I did, for a short while. It is great for some of the (very) basic exercises, and I thought it was a good value because of the add-ons to customize to my (advancing) fitness needs /levels....(and one of the key reasons I decided against the Total Gym was because I wanted a more pilates focused machine, that permitted the pull up bar or other such addons / upgrades... stronger cords, etc, oops). My rating reflects that this 55-4266 is not compatible with the pull up bar. Not in any of the descriptions from many of the big sellers of this product (that I saw) , was this disclaimer ever made visible. It was not until I tried in vain to figure out how to attach the bar, that I found out that it doesn't fit. (Even on this website, the pull up bar purchase description indicates that it does not fit 55-5556 and the 55-5557. I made a silly deduction, therefore, that it would attach to the 55-4266A). It was not until looking into the questions specifically about the 266, (55-4266A), on this website, (again, hoping to see if anyone else asked how to attach the pull up bar) did I see that the pull up bar is not compatible). Sadly, I did not read that before I bought this machine (and the pull up bar, that is now useless). If you are looking to add any of the extra options, then understand that this machine is very limited! (Ironically, on the exercise guide inserts that delivered with this machine, the pull up bar is shown in more than half of the diagrams!!). Consider what you want out of the machine and understand what you are buying for the price. (Regardless of the seller). Be careful not to advance in your fitness levels unless you have the money to buy a better machine within the next year because the lack of attachments / upgrades available on this model.

Loving it so far! I’m 5’10” and I can comfortably exercise on this machine with no problem. I really like that I can work so many areas of my body. And bonus: I am sitting while exercising!!

I received this reformer as a gift and it has been AMAZING! I have had it just over 3 years and use it outdoors (covered when not in use). It is extremely durable and provides a fantastic workout.

This machine is awful. I wish I would have read the previous bad review, because it was 100% accurate. This machine is not made for someone who regularly practices reformer Pilates. This machine does not compare to a studio machine.

I bought because of the great reviews but I wonder if the reviewers ever took a pilates class in a studio. It arrived on a rainy day and was damaged (bent and the all the foam sections had indentations that never came out). I threw the box away because it was all wet and had holes in it. I still put it together and tried it out. Nothing like the ones you would use in a class. There is no adjustable bar that holds the leg cords high so the cords constantly hit my shoulders each time I used it for leg exercises. Limited my range of motion with my legs and was annoying. It doesn't roll smooth. There is a constant roll into a dip every time you go back and forth with the machine. So noisy and not sure why it wasn't smooth. Tried to work with the manufacturer but weeks later am still waiting to hear back on a different model that doesn't have the dip/bump (where the seams come together it is not flush) in the roll and a higher cord bar so my shoulders don't get hit every time. It is a lot less expensive then a used professional one but I still cannot recommend it. Will be returning it. Not looking forward to having to lug a big piece of equipment back to Target in no box. Also there are 3 elastic bands (5 springs in the professional ones) that give you resistance. They are pretty weak and within a short amount of time I would think a person would need more resistance. I used all 3 right from the start. I almost forgot. The foot bar and bounce bar don't wedge or screw in tightly so there is flexibility and that is not right. I was so excited to get it for my Christmas present this year and was so disappointed in it.

The item is as discribed. Two clips arrived broken, I called the company and they were quick to send the replacement. The machine is nice and works well. The DVDs are very helpful. My pelvic abs are sore after my first session, this is the first time I have really felt that part of my abs. My only regret is that I don’t have the option to add additional cords.

Just started with it but think it will be great to keep me agile. It would be probably a beginner one for those younger as there are only three ropes for tension. Instructions were perfect and the reformer easy to set up by me. Perfect!

I bought this a couple of months ago and love working out at home and saving gym fees. It was easy to put together and does not take up much space. It came with a great poster and video to get started. The reformer is sturdy and comfortable.

I'm in my mid 60's and bought this to keep me moving. This is helping me to maintain/improve my flexibility, strength, range of motion, etc. Doesn't take up a lot of room & is convenient to use. Didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't had it long enough yet to give it a thorough workout.

Bought this a month ago. I am very overweight at 250 lbs. Just getting it home was a challenge, setting it up was tiring, because I was so out of shape. I started slowly, using 20 minutes of yoga to warm up then worked my way up gradually. Slowly adding different excercise and tensions. I can't believe how far I've come in just 4 weeks. My muffin top is way down, my core and balance is much stronger. I have much more energy. I'm happier. I can do sit-ups, bring my legs over my head, have no back pain, neck pain , sore shoulders and am standing much straighter. It's like night and day. It's my miracle...
