Guests are saying
This planter is designed for growing strawberries and herbs, offering a tiered structure that allows for easy movement and sunlight adjustment. Many guests appreciate its lightweight design and the ability to plant multiple plants. However, some have noted concerns about drainage and the effectiveness of the self-watering feature. Overall, it provides a fun and engaging way to cultivate plants, though guests suggest improvements for deeper planting and clearer assembly instructions.

Nice color
Like the color of the planter. Found another version later on other sites, different color, same dimension, 5 tiers, but does have a self watering feature. Each layer has an insert screen that separates the potting mix from the water reservoir.

Not great but cheaper than greenstalks
I got these specifically for my strawberries. These planters are adequate but not the best. They should be made a little deeper and with the lobes more defined so that the planting space is larger. Shallowness prohibits lower levels from getting adequate sun since strawberry foliage tends to hang and radiate outwards which is problematic if you want each level as productive as possible. The lobes are soft and not very spacious so that planting space is rather limited.

Great find!!
Was able to plant 12 plants! Love the design and it’s not too heavy to move around due to the tiered construction. Happy with my purchase!

Its not quite what you expect based on its name.
Wanted a tiered planter for strawberries. This has 3 stacking trays, each with space for water. Will see how it works over time. Cheap plastic construction - hoping it holds up in the sun.

Very disappointed in this product.
This product should come with directions on how to fill will self watering mixture. It doesn't drain well when there is heavy rain.

Stacking Patio Planter
Very simple to stack together & I love that this comes with trays to keep any additional water off my strawberry plants! Highly recommend for herbs or strawberries!

Tall pots need a length or two of PVC inserted
Be sure to insert a tube from top to bottom prior to filling to allow water to reach bottom layer.

Not self-watering
Even with an irrigation line on top that provided water the lower two tiers were bone dry. It works as a strawberry planter - though it seems pretty shallow to me for mature plants - but to recommend this product I'd need more specific instructions. I have two in boxes that I never opened so if anyone wants them...

This is a fun way to grow strawberries!
My strawberries are healthy and they seem to like our Montana weather! But, I do not understand the "self-watering" concept. There were no instructions with my purchase.

Works fairly well, self-watering is only so-so
We are growing great strawberries in these pots, but have found that the self-watering doesn't work well for the lower tiers.

Easy strawberry planters
It is easier than the kits you build with a drip line and pcp pipes that friends have built.

Fabulous product
Gave this pot to my daughter in law and she had it filled with strawberry plants immediately. She is so happy with it

Exactly what I needed.
I can grow all the strawberries I want, and can keep the planter out of my dogs' reach. They also love strawberries, so I've put a few plants in various spots in the yard for them. They tend to eat every berry on the plants, with none left to share with me! Now I have my own :-)

Easy to use; great for herbs and strawberries
I bought this to plant my strawberries. I decided to also plant my peppermint and basil in other tiers. This works really well to keep the mint from choking out other plants. I'm not sure about the self watering claim; the reservoir does not seem to draw water up to the top. I also think I might need more room for the strawberry plants to flourish, but I'm reserving final comment on that for the season.

I would not buy if I had known.
I have purchased many products from Gardeners and have always been very satisfied. I have planted my strawberries and watered them as needed. We had a sustained period of rain and I went out to check that the bottom tier of plants were not water logged. To my surprise and disappointment, even after hours of steady rain, the bottom plants were bone dry. The middle tier was somewhat wet. Only the top tier was soaked with rain. The planter was out in the open, not under cover, so nothing prevented the rain from watering all the levels. I expected better. Would return both stacks if I hadn't already used them.

I'll have to let you know...
I just planted them on Mother's Day. Will have to let you know how they do. So far, my strawberry starts are all very happy and pushing up shoots.
