What a strong color but OMG! Don't do it in your bathroom, it will stain surfaces and skin. Use bleach to remove stains from tile and surfaces. Also box came with unusable gloves????? Flat and couldn't open

i LOVE this product
I've been using this splat dye for probably 4 years, my hair is always healthy and so soft. the conditioner is so good. i love the color and it is very long lasting. only thing i will say that come could perceive as bad is the color barely fades and will probably never come out with any amount of color remover or bleach but i really don't care bc i love the red but if your looking for something that isn't permanent/wont last long this is probably not for you.

THIS IS PERMANENT DYE
This should not be marketed as a semi permanent dye. It has been months and I have tried everything to strip the color out.

Our dyes are Semi-permanent, which is identified on the box, with that said the fade out time period /process varies from person to person based on hair texture, density and porosity. Industry standard wise Semi-permanents last 4-6 weeks and also varies depending on how often the hair is washed. The more the hair is washed the faster/more will fade, using a clarifying shampoo can also help. You can still have color left in the hair after the 30 washes or 4-6 weeks due to the high pigment load, depending on how long the color was processed and integrity / porosity of the hair. A total waste
Dyed on two heads of natural blonde hair. One is a white-blonde, the other is a med blonde. Let product sit for a hour. The purple turned blue and barely stuck after a single rinse. Complete waste of time and money

Not for me.
I really wanted to like this dye because the color is beautiful on my hair but it stains everything, even running my fingers through my hair dry. And my hair feels very damaged after this. I won't be using it again.

In order to stop all the bleeding and staining we recommend that you do a really good rinse with cooler water, rinse the hair until the water runs clear, shampoo the hair really good making sure all excess color is being shampooed out, rinse again with cooler water until the water runs clear, apply conditioner allowing it to set for a few minutes then do the last final rinse with cooler water until the water runs clear. Splat is a semi-permanent color / direct dye and these types of dyes just coat the hair meaning they sit on the hair shaft and don't really penetrate unless the hair is very porous.

Unsatisfied!!
I used the midnight jade today! Now the tub and my skin came out like an aqua blue color, but my hair came out black!! I didnt have an issue with the tanzanite one but this one just didnt come out like the box said, I went into the sunlight just to make sure but the jade didnt come out!

Beautiful colohr
This red is such a beautiful colour. I always make a mess doing it because I have long hair but it is always worth it. I finally found a brand that has a beautiful long lasting colour that will wash out and not stain my hair (unlike natural instincts 😒). I don't use shampoo much and wash in the sink with cold water so it lasts a good amount of time. I've tried a few colours but this is my favorite.

Soooo pretty
I love this color and I got it all with out having to bleach my hair. Midnight Indigo is everything I want in a deep dark blue hair color. The consistency of the product was very nice, however I did make sure to shake the bottle prior to application. The color can be a bit messy, but in my opinion, all at home hair coloring is messy. The conditioner! Omg the conditioner that comes with the kit is amazing. Only wish it had a tad bit more product, but phenomenal nonetheless.

Lasted long
First of all, it smells great. I enjoyed the process. I didn't bleach my hair before using it, I was aiming for a very subtle dark purple that was only really noticeable in the sunlight. This product achieved that for me. It did stain my skin and scalp pretty bad, but I was able to get rid of that fairly easily. I dyed it about a year ago and its faded, but my hair is still purple in the sunlight, which I like even though it was meant to be semi-temporary. I wouldn't recommend using this though if you dye and bleach your hair often. I bleached a strip of my hair and the dye lingered. Overall, I'll be using this again.

I hate this product.
My daughter wanted green highlights in her hair so I bought the hair dye thinking it would work. When it dried there was no color and she took a white shirt, rubbed it on her hair, and the dye came out, and it came out as blue not green. It also made her hair feel like chalk. DONT BUY THIS!

About as expected
Easy to use and will last a while based on past experience yet the blue looks teal and a the teal green. Might be an issue with my hair as it's not the first time I experience a similar issue however. The bleach was also a bit weird, very strong smell and weirdly thick, but that might have been partially user error.

A bit too watery compared to the other Midnight Color dyes.
I love Splat Midnight edition colors especially not having to bleach your hair. The only issue I had with the indigo blue was that it was so watery that without properly mixing it with another color, it would have made a disaster mess for a first time user. I have a license from Paul Mitchell and I'm excellent at coloring and creating beautiful ombré styles with Splat.

Clairol for Old People this is a Modern Salón Color
My husband wanted for me to look modern and confident. But really all I see Clairol, L'Oreal even Garnier for Old People I don't blame them nobody wants to express their self they want to look like a photocopy of YouTube. It amazed me easy to use, great ingredients and true to color.

Best hair dye ive ever used.
I had black hair, i used one bottle of bleach and I have thick long hair, it covered the whole thing, didnt do any damage and ive been dying my hair for years. It came out a beautiful bright red. My hair dye still wont come out even i dyed it 3 months ago, i wash my hair with hot water every other day and ive been waiting for it to fade away because i am planning to dye it a different color when it fades more but its still so bright. which is truley amazing.

Uneven color
All the other splat colors ive used worked well, but for some reason tantalizing teal was so uneven for me and was not nearly as intense as promised. I wanted teal roots and my hair was bleached x2 btw and put a generous amount of dye. Disappointed tbh
