The directions included with this item are wrong. I've put together many items and the printed directions say to put the wodden dowels where the lcoking screws should go and the tool strips the threads because of poor construction. Since the printed directions were then there wasn't any Quality Control by the MFG or Target.

It took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble. Some if the directions were wrong for a few of the screw placement and wood dowels. The last step putting on the hing brackets (part 6 and 7) were damaged and rusted and not flexible but frozen.

Awful to put together, cheaply made
This thing was a nightmare to put together, and I've put my fair share of crappy furniture together. It's very cheaply made and one of the large panels thankfuly on the back cracked while I was putting it together. I'll have to woodglue it but happy it's not on the front. The screw strip so easily, the instructions were wrong about where to screw in 6 screws so I had to troubleshoot, and once i installed the levers inside the top didn't stay closed, so i just eneded up removing one. Unfortunatly it works perfectly for our space and holds a decent amount, but buyer beware.
