Bubble gum flavor candy date
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like the flavor of these bubble gum candy dates. I think they’re a great option if you need to be eating dates, such as during pregnancy, however I would recommend a different flavor. The bubble gum tasted totally artificial. The texture is nice though. I did like the crunch of the candy coating.

A different type of snack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell is definitely of bubble gum as soon as you open it. The taste as well is a great copy of bubble gum, its crunchy and you dont even realize you are eating a date. They are a good size so 3-4 is an ok serving size to feel like you are having a snack. Its not something I would have normally sought out but once they were in front of me I definitely enjoyed them and will try the other flavors too.

My son really liked these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the second dates he tried, the first were new as well. When you opened the bag, there is a strong sugar smell. He said they taste like a candy and the chewy texture added to this. Taste exactly like bubble gum. He liked these better than the other flavors. I can say he would want these again.

Like chewing old fashioned bubble gum

This flavor i was the most skeptical of but it trult took my back to chewing bubble tape with its strong flavor and the chewy texture of the date. I loved the candy shell flavor and the relatively clean ingredients to get the yummy flavor.

Ok flavor, weird texture.

I like the flavor of the coating itself, but the crunchy outside with the chewy date is weird. I don't like it, and the sweet outside is too much contrast with the date. I honestly would just get sugar free gum at this point. Would not recommend.

Interesting unique snack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so much bigger than I expected! The flavoring is not overly strong but it has a taste of bubble gum for sure. The date itself is very sweet and chewy naturally and it’s delicious! The bag is resealable so it is a great bag to take on the go. The color is pretty. There’s no extra sugar but it’s definitely a sweet snack!

Look weird but taste great!

We are a low sweet house so they definitely seem like candy to us. The candy coating on them has been so delicious. This definitely tastes like gum flavor. My kids really loved it and they are ages 7 to 17.

Sweet snack, unique taste

I like how the candy coating gives it a little crunch when you take a bite. This particular flavor was super sweet so keep that in mind - I have a sweet tooth so I enjoyed it!

NOVEL WAY TO EAT AND ENJOY FIGS

They are not the most attractive candy item I have ever eaten, but the do taste good. I do have to say that their taste is true to the description on the package. I like that the figs are grown in California (USA).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the Smood Sweets fizzy bubble gum dates. I really wanted to like these, they have no added sugar, no artificial flavors or colors. The outside is crunchy the date inside is soft. I just didn’t love the flavor of the candy coating. It tasted fake and had a chemical aftertaste. If you or any of your family liked these they would be a great snack, as part of your lunch or whenever you crave a little something sweet.

Different but good tasting candy type treat

The dates definitely have that bubble gum taste but you do have to remind yourself this isn’t going to taste like a sugar filled treat. Upon eating a second one they kind of became addicting for that sweet treat with the soft date inside and crunchy bubble gum flavored outside. After careful reflection, this is a great no added sugar treat - it might just take two to fall in love.

A Tasty and Healthy Bubble You Can Eat.

The dates were fresh and chewy, with a very smooth, bubble gum flavored coating, similar to a gumball from a gumball machine. The pieces looked unattractive, but they tasted better than they looked. They seemed to lack fizz. However, I do believe these would be fun and flavorful snacks for children to enjoy. And parents could also benefit from the healthiness of the dates.

A Delicious healthy snack!!!!

I usually eat it after my meals, and even though it’s pretty sweet, it is absolutely delicious. The packaging is adorable too. These are horrible. Absolutely disgusting. The candy shell is weird and not how the picture on the package appears. The taste of the candy tastes like bubble gum scented soap. There is nothing “fizzy” about it which is weird that it’s included in the flavor name. This is a hard pass
