Q: When I try to use this after charging for a few hours, it only moves for 1 second and then stops. Is it defective or is there a secret to the buttons next to the power button.

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about the SLF Shiatsu Pro Shoulder Massager Excessive Downward Pressure: If you are actively pulling down on the arm straps to apply deep pressure, the massager may interpret this as a motor obstruction or overload and shut off to prevent damage. Since you said it was charging for a few hours, the problem is most likely related to the charging system. Contact Customer Support: Since it sounds like a new item with a persistent power failure, you should contact the manufacturer (SLF) for a warranty replacement or refund. This Massager has very little power or heat! The intensity was non existent. I cannot believe people actually gave high reviews. Makes no sense!

Battery not charging
Plugged in my wife's gift to charge and lasted about 10 minutes. Plugged in the charging cable and had it on for more than 5 hours the battery is dead still.
