It’s squishy enough to where you don’t need a cover but if you wanted one maybe a waterproof pad could be a good addition to just add a little more comfort for the baby instead of them being on the rubber.

I will forever recommend this to parents. I'm so glad I got this as a first time mom, because I could not imagine having to wash changing pad sheets along with the million other things I already have to clean. Babies are VERY messy and being able to wipe this down after makes things so much easier. The only complaint is that because of the material it can be a bit cold on baby's bum so sometimes I'll leave a soft blanket on there. Also the mobile kept baby entertained for a while but then he started learning that he can kick it (very hard lol) so i removed it. Other than that I love this and hope to use it for a while.

Loved this easy to clean changing pad! Used this for our baby's first diaper change and can't imagine doing anything else. It's easy to move around on any dresser or surface. Poo or pee accidents are easily cleaned and the cushion is soft enough to cradle baby's body and head. We have a double coated pup at home and changing baby on the bed or any non-raised surface is not an option. No need for pad cushions or unnecessary loads of laundry.

I’m usually a fan of ones with covers because i feel like their little booty will be cold on the bare pad, but the baby doesn’t seem to mind and it keeps you from having to wash a cover for it.

I really enjoyed this at first, especially because of how easy it is to clean. But after only one month of use, it has already developed a pink/orange mark in the middle like others have pointed out. Very upsetting considering the price point of this item. I would understand a little wear after a year or so, but after only one month?? We’ve never left any pee/poo on the table and wipe it down when needed, so I don’t think this mark is from user error.

Our baby boy has lots of accidents on the changing table and this makes it so much easier to wipe down instead of changing the pad cover 2x a day. The nude color is modern and the pad seems to be comfortable.

My almost 2 yr old grandson(with little interest in potty training yet ugh) has become so wriggly and heavy for this GiGi to lift for a fresh diaper change so I now have him lay on the floor, couch, bed, whichever is closest lol- but I hate those sticky staining plastic changing pads that you throw in a diaper bag and just a towel or sheet is too risky, so this wonderfully thick firm foamy pad is perfect! The contoured sides keep him from being able to roll away and escape as fast as he can laying flat, and the bottom is flat so he doesn't get all contorted and make his body difficult to wipe messes clean. Plus I don't have to worry about a remaining mess staining the icky plastic kind or seeping through just a towel because this ISN'T plastic, with no cover to stain-and really does wipe clean as it claims :) The safety strap is adjustable on both ends, and held securely to the pad by the plastic support base across the bottom midline. The adorable mobile with the sweet sun and mirror cloud attaches to the same plastic support on the side, folds down but won't fall down since it takes a little effort to swivel, and is also removable completely which will be great when grandbaby #2 makes his/her arrival in the next few months :) The oatmeal color is also a refreshing change from the typical white plastic pads. Even though I use this on the floor or waist height it DOES fit in the changing table and includes sticky strips to adhere it to a solid surface for safety which I will add when new baby is here (and using the changing table) Thank you to SKIP*HOP® for saving this ole granny's back...and her couch, bed, carpet lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a simple, yet stylish changing pad. What I really like about it is that I do not have to do any extra laundry. No changing pad covers are needed. The pad is able to be easily wiped down and cleaned. The pad is pretty large, so I would recommend measuring your changing table before purchasing this. The pad is a lot softer than I expected, which is nice. There is a removable bar that has a little toy for baby to look at while they are being changed. If you don’t want it on, it is removable. They have also included a little safety belt so that your little one is secure while they are being changed. So far, this has worked well in our nursery and matches our décor nicely. I would recommend this changing pad.
