Hair Loss
I don’t normally write reviews but I had to. My families hair has been falling out like crazy since we have been using the shampoo and conditioner combo. I had to cut over two inches of my hair off. I wish I was able to return and get my money back! I really tried to support and love the products from shea moisture, but they are not for my family and I !

Good but not great….
It does have some slip and provides some moisture but does not have the same knot melting effect that other conditioners have. It also does not provide as much moisture as other products. It does have a pleasant scent but the packaging needs work because the pump can be hard to work with when your hands are slippery. Overall it gets the job done but I’m not super impressed.

Hi I’m here to remind you customers to think twice before purchasing shea moisture strengthen and restore shampoo or conditioner because it will sit on the retails shelf over shelf life and shea moisture will still give the ok to sell! Disgusting work. Definitely do not supposed shea moisture at ALL anymore. If I was stupid I would probably still use this gonk! Eww! 💩

No growth
I wanted so badly to love this product, but my hair stopped growing while using this product. Left my hair feeling it had a lot of buildup did not feel clean. After every wash my hair felt dry and hair still kept falling out. Very disappointed

I purchased Shea Moisture products to AVOID harmful ingredients. Well, was I wrong!!! Now the "new formulation" adds polyquaternium-10, polysorbates, amd other toxic ingredients. These ingredients are horrible for your health and safety. They cause me to have severe skin irritations, and systemic allergic reactions. Sad to say, but Shea Moisture has really gone against what I thought they stood for. Don't buy these new formulations if you value your health, wellness, and safety!!!

WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN
I had to read the reviews before I wrote mine and I have been holding back for months. Been using this shampoo for more than three years and boy did the formula change. There's no sort of lather and my hair never feels clean when I wash it, it always feels like there's still buildup on my hair. I also noticed breakouts on my scalp and shedding of my hair. Most of all, I noticed when the shampoo is done how many particles are left in the bottle unlike before. It also seems to stain shower curtains etc. I will most likely throw out the few bottles I have left and I won't repurchase.

I've spent yearsss trying to find the perfect shampoo and this shampoo WAS the one. I've used it for years and raved about it to anyone who would listen. It moisturized my dyed hair, permed hair, you name it. But with the new formulation, the shampoo has gone completely wayward. My scalp gets oily very quickly and I'm getting dandruff!!! New Formula Ruined The Product
I’ve used this shampoo as well as the conditioner since before the new fomula and i used to love it. I would leave my hair so clean, smooth, and soft. Now, It leaves so much buildup my scalp feels disgusting no matter how many times I wash it. Also makes my scalp extremely itchy.

New formula changed all good things !
I bought a new bottle of my favourite shampoo and was so dissapointed. I had to check here on web site what is going on as it is not as it was! My hair is dull, sculp does not feel clean, I need to wash it each day! I loved the shampoo so much that I talked about it all around and people start buying it. I have greacy hair and it solved all my issues. Now I need to find new one for me, and it took ages! Why are you changing good things !

New formula ruined it
This was my only shampoo for years, but the new formula has ruined it for me. Despite advertising an improved lather, I found the new formula to barely lather at all compared to the old one. It used to be thin and spread easily and effectively, but now it feels thick and I have to use a lot more. Leaves my hair feeling weighed down and gunked up. I'm extremely disappointed, I loved this shampoo, and it took me a LOT of time and money going through different products to find one that I really liked. I'm sure it means nothing to them, but Shea Moisture lost me as a customer with this change.
