Castor Oil is great for many things. I really liked this conditioner. I have thin, frizzy, natural curls. My hair felt and looked good after trying this product out. I had a hard time with the pump top. It would not open. I took it to the store. The customer service representative opened it for me. He said other people had difficulty opening the pump top also.

Good but not great….
It does have some slip and provides some moisture but does not have the same knot melting effect that other conditioners have. It also does not provide as much moisture as other products. It does have a pleasant scent but the packaging needs work because the pump can be hard to work with when your hands are slippery. Overall it gets the job done but I’m not super impressed.

So Disappointed
I purchased Shea Moisture products to AVOID harmful ingredients. Well, was I wrong!!! Now the "new formulation" adds polyquaternium-10, polysorbates, amd other toxic ingredients. These ingredients are horrible for your health and safety. They cause me to have severe skin irritations, and systemic allergic reactions. Sad to say, but Shea Moisture has really gone against what I thought they stood for. Don't buy these new formulations if you value your health, wellness, and safety!!!

My new favorite!
I have type 2C curly hair. I never cared particularly for the health of my hair, but one day I decided to "splurge" and buy this Conditioner and it's matching Shampoo. It has worked wonders on my hair! My hair doesn't tangle as badly as it did before, my hair feels softer, it absorbs water easier, and my hair dries more evenly. I will definitely keep using this!

This is by far my favorite product to use on my 2 daughers' hair! They have biracial hair and this really provides the moisture their hair needs and makes brushing so easy. It also smells great and doesn't take alot of product to get the results. I use this like a deep conditioner weekly to biweekly or when braiding the hair I simply leave it in.

Literally does everything I needed it too. I recommend to leave the conditioner in for like 5-10 or fifteen minutes it really just depends on how long your showers are, but by leaving the conditioner your hair will be so soft and tangled free. I pinky promise on that.

This particular product is the eighth wonder of the world for my beard, and oh, the smell is heavenly! Many beard products strip the essential oil in beards, so when I came across this product many years ago, it an answer to my beard prayers and rituals. After shampooing, Apply this air conditioner liberally to your beards for about 10 minutes and in that ten minutes, use a big comb, depends on the volume of your beards and gently comb your beards outwards, after a while, start using the comb to gently scratch the skin beneath the beards as you comb the beard. This process removes any buildup and allows the air conditioner to penetrate the root of the beards for that strong and rich growth! Depends on your preference, I rinse off with lukewarm water. Dry with a towel and apply a good beard balms. Thank me later.

The only conditioner that seems to work for me
I LOVE this conditioner. I appreciate the natural color of the product, and the aroma is more natural, too. As someone who is extremely sensitive to fragrances and chemicals, and even having straight-up allergies to some "natural" hair additives like arnica, I am so grateful for this product. My hair is loose, wound curls -- like long, 1-2" diameter hollow tubes -- but is very porous, so it happily drinks up the conditioner. The only downside to the conditioner is I still sometimes have quite a but of frizz, but I think that has more to do with my hair than the conditioner, itself.

The product worked really good, leaving my hair somewhat soft however, I didn't like the smell. I had to immediately put on another product to mask the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair loves this conditioner! I love how soft this made my hair feel and how good it makes it smell too. The only reason why I gave this 4/5 stars is because when I wash out the conditioner from my hair, the conditioner stays on my shower floor and it looks dirty because the color is brown. I always have to rinse the brown bubbles of conditioner off the floor once I'm done taking a shower. Nothing major but still a small con.
