Good for straight ir curly hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for curly or straight hair. I have cutely hair. Used this on my new growth because I have locs but I let it grow out so I can do certain styles. It doesn’t really leave residue either which is nice I love it I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only gave this 4 stars because I'm not sure if it didn't curl the way I expected it to because I need my ends trimmed or if it just didn't curl because it simply didnt work as well. I liked the texture, a little goes a long way especially on short wet 4C hair. I didn't notice any flaking because for my hair I typically notice flaking when I mix products--which I didn't do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to thank Shea Moisture and Influenster for sending me this gel. The pros: the hold of this gel is really strong, and it handles frizz well. You can see an instant change after using it, along with a shine. It didn't leave a residue, but it will do so if you do use a lot. The cons: Some of the ingredients that are on there are too strong. I also started noticing my edges thinning out from using it.

Not Super Moisturized But Not Dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells exactly like the Coconut and Hibiscus line which I love! I noticed that I had to use a little more to define my wash and go but the gel wasn’t heavy even when I applied a lot. When my wash and go was dry my hair didn’t feel super moisturized but I noticed after 2 days that my hair was kinda dry. The hold wasn’t that good for a first day wash and go either. I think I would get better results with the matching leave in underneath.

Not so satisfied

And I’m huge on definition in my hair and I just feel it didn’t give it. My hair was so frizzy and brittle and I feel it didn’t agree with any of my products. This just isn’t the product for me.

Good light hold!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wasn’t bad it did define a bit but at the moment, my hair health isn’t there yet to tell. I’m being treated for stress induced alopecia which wasn’t on my bingo card to have lost so much in vital areas to be able to show how well it works.. However the gel where I was able to use it is very light weight and you get a lot of product for the value. Granted I have less hair so I won’t be running through this quickly. There’s no residue and it isn’t sticky. It’s a much lighter hold vs the strong hold and I would definitely try it again and use it again once I’m able to confidently do so. I wear my natural hair out occasionally and this would be perfect for those days.

I finally love my curls
This is by far the best curling gel I’ve used on my curls. It’s very light weight. Gives my curls a nice bounce while adding volume and height to my curly fro. The finish is a little crunchy but nothing too major and it doesn’t add as much sheen as I’d normally like. But I have other products I can layer for that. I will be purchasing this again
