Sharper Image 500 Portable Cordless Oral Irrigator - Black

Initially I thought that this portable irrigator was exactly why I needed, something small, functional and can be carry on travels. I was wrong. I took care of cleaning and emptying the device as it was directed, until one day I was moving the case up & down repeatedly with nothing attached and suddenly horrible particles kind of mold that has been building up inside the big water container came up. Needless to say that throw it away in disgust :(

This is great for traveling. It is small, lightweight, cordless. It does feel like it cleans my teeth pretty well and the quality is good. I find myself having to re fill with water 3-4x before I get a full mouth cleaning. But it is smaller so I would expect that. I use this all of the time. Comes with a charging cord

Like it as compact, has 3 settings and 3 attachments. It works well and keeps a charge for 3 weeks.

I've had this product over a year and have been very happy with it. It works great and is compact.I think the hardest thing.. which is true of most water flossers is cleaning and drying. I rinse it out with hydrogen peroxide every so often and lay it on paper towels to dry.In the last month, the bottom part (water reservoir) that slides over the motor part has gotten so tight that I can't get it off the machine without brute force. I guess the little gasket has expanded but it's frustrating.But I like it enough to order a new one if it will last another 15 months I'll be happy. 4 people found this helpful

This is fantastic . I'm a water pic addict and dread the time when I leave on a trip without it! I found this on TRAKK and had to try it. The water capacity and pressure are superb. I have tried four different Water Flossers from different brands. They all had different flaws and broke within a year of daily use. Some were too bulky for traveling, others had weak water pressure, etc. I bought the last one for travel use. I have been using it off and on for a year now. I like everything about it: the design, the compactness, the sufficient volume of water and strong pressure, the charge lasts a long time. Love the portability for flossing. Great size. As others have mentioned, sometimes hard to fill water in the little fill hole. We have been taking the motor apart from the tank to help air it out and prevent mold after each use and that has helped with the cleanliness. We've noticed over the past few uses that it is getting harder (almost impossible) to extend the tank from the motor unit (or separate them from each other). This is sort of disappointing because we purchased our unit in March 2024 so with sporadic usage only for travel, its longevity wasn't the best. But for me, the way this flosser works and helps cleaning between my teeth helps a lot when traveling so I bought another one. This small, convenient product is very effective and leaves my teeth feeling clean. I love it for travelling, as it fits easily with other toiletries and has been very reliable. I have crowns and an implant, so I really need to use it every night to remove food debris. The battery lasts a long time, and charging with a USB cord is easy. The water capacity is limited by it's small size, so I usually have to refill it and use a second tankful to feel like I've completely cleaned my teeth. On my unit, the nozzle was very difficult to remove at first; I had to grip it with my teeth to remove it from the unit for storage, but that got better over the months. It worked perfectly for 18 months, but it then suddenly stopped working. I need to call customer service to 103 people found this helpful

I was traveling for a month and didn't want to give up this part of my dental hygiene routine. I did have to refill the reservoir once each time I used it, to get as much time as I'm used to having, but it did a very good job and was easy to recharge. *** UPDATE *** I packed this item for a second trip, only to find out that it had stopped working. I charged it, and it made the pumping noise, but no water came through the device. So I guess it's a limited-use product. 2 people found this helpful

I had the travel waterpik and it kept getting moldy in the water cup and you COULD NOT get it clean. I put cup in dishwasher....big mistake. I looked to see what else was out there and I found this travel waterpik. I love it. It's easy to use, I'm not worried about mold bc I separate it yo dry out. Its powerful enough.
