Description

First aired on television in 1963 as the two-part "Kraft Suspense Theatre" episode "The Case Against Paul Ryker," this gripping drama stars Lee Marvin as an American soldier sentenced to death after being convicted of treason while serving in the Korean War. He claims he was acting on orders and carrying out a secret mission, and when he gets a new trial, the military lawyer (Bradford Dillman) who initially prosecuted him must now serve as his defense attorney.
