I didn't realize that you have to literally give it a bath for it to fluff out. its covered in some weird dried substance that gets slimy when you wash it. the idea of this toy is fun but the actual chore to wash it was a pain. my kid loved it though

Cute bunny goat :)
Not as cute as the picture it came with, and is more like a hybrid of a bunny and a goat. But nonetheless, I would say this is more about the experience, and my 4 year old is crazy about this furry creature. She loved washing it in a large bowl with warm water and gentle shampoo. It was pretty soaked afterwards so I knew that it had to be thrown in the dryer on low for 30-45 minutes. After it was dry I fluffed it up with my hairdryer and brush and this is what it came out looking like. The ears are by far the softest part of the bunny, and the rest of its body does get matted. My daughter fluffs it up with a brush and it’s all good. This is absolutely a great idea, but could use some quality control with the appearance, and update of the instructions to put it in the dryer on low heat for 30+ minutes.

I don’t understand why this is labeled as “trending.” My daughter is obsessed with cats, so I wanted to get her a cat toy instead of a real kitten. After following the instructions to wash it, the result was terrible. The only good part was doing the wash-and-dry process together, but the toy came out disappointing, the fur looks cheap and keeps falling out.

If you're interested in this, please don't let the bad reviews deter you. If you use a clarifying shampoo and rinse it out *completely* (shower works great), then use the spin cycle on your washer to get extra water out before blow-drying...the stuffy turns out very fluffy and soft! My daughter absolutely loves it!

scruffy and cute!
My 6 year old daughter received this as a Christmas present. She wants to be a vet when she grows up and she loves taking care of animals. Washing the pet was the best part. You do have to put it in the washer on the spin cycle and we also did a low heat tumble dry before we used the blow dryer on it. She loves her pint kitty and named her Rose.
