The shipping box arrived in good condition, with no obvious damage. on removing the bike from the bike and beginning the assembly process, I quickly observed the front wheel fork (left) was bent forward, making mounting the front tire impossible. it was a factory defect, and not damaged. Very poor quality control at the buyer's expense. Now, Ingad to repack the bike into the box (NOT a small task); then load it into my SUV and return it for a refund. Buyer Beware!

The first thing I noticed about this bike was how solid and sturdy all the parts seemed. If it had been any lighter I would have been concerned it wouldn't stand up to much use. It was a little tricky for me to put it together alone but with some help it wasn't too hard. I have been very impressed with the bike so far and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is on the fence about getting one.

Comfortable bike to ride . Nice features included. Pedal assist sensor was defective but a replacement was sent by Schwinn and I brought the bike to a local shop to complete the installation. Rear fender was loose which required me to remove the rear wheel assembly to tighten the loose screws. I noticed a dent in the rear fender and contacted Schwinn again. They will be sending a replacement which is on back order for 2 months. Not very good factory quality control. Not sure if I would purchase again because of these issues.

One of my worst bike purchases ever. Cheap quality and arrived with many broken parts. I think it’s safe to say I won’t be buying another Schwinn product. Not the same Schwinn company of my childhood days of the 60’s and 70’s.

Bought it because it was a cheap starter bike. Didn’t realize how cheap. Front wheel came bent and had to have a replacement sent. Hopefully we can get by using it as a part time guest bike. Will get another brand next time.

This bike exceeds my expectations. The frame is very sturdy and strong. The tires are big which allows better balance and the ability to allow heavier riders. The battery holds a charge for a decent amount of time. I'm able to ride up hill easily because I'm able to engage the battery when needed. I'm very impressed overall.

Omg, Im so in love, I have wanted one of these Bikes for so long. Ever since the first time I ever seen them and how fun they looked. It was a little aggravating to put together but well worth it. The instructions tells you everything but my man doesn't seem to like using the instruction booklet, lol. So I stepped in and helped him and we got it completed together. If your considering an electronic bike I insist on you buying this one, you won't be disappointed.

The Schwinn hybrid electric bike has been a lot of fun to add to make exercise routine. I love how the bike is met to my height. The bike has a nice display screen. The bike is big and has a little weight, to me, so be sure to have proper storage space.

I love this bike, its super fun to ride! This was my first electric bike and I'm really happy with it! My only complaint was that the front brake must have gotten slightly messed up in shipping because I had to loosen it in order to fit the front wheel on the bike during assembly. The bike can be a bit of a chore to assemble, but once you're done it's such a fun bike!!

This Schwinn electric bike is the coolest bike I have ever been on! There was a little assembly required that my husband took care of. His only complaint was that the directions included were not specific to this model of bike but he was able to figure it. Initial charge was quick and the first ride was amazing. I have never been on an electric bike and was a little nervous, however, it was so easy to get going! I like the display panel and the headlight! I am 5'7" and the S/M is a perfect fit. My 14 year old daughter has been on it almost daily since we got it (she is 5'5") If you are on the fence.....do it! You will not regret it!

This bike is a well made nice sized bike! It was easy to assemble and didn't take long to charge the battery to begin to use. It is super cool and can go 20 mph which is how fast I had it going.. makes biking so much easier My entire family wants to take the bike for a ride because it's so cool! The gears and pedals everything is easy to use! I am extremely pleased with this item and would and do highly recommend

You can probably find a lot of reviews from professional bike riders that will compare specs of E bikes in the market. My review approaches this bike from a purely recreational standpoint. I live in an area with a lot of hills. I saw an opportunity to get this bike to enjoy biking again. And I do! The bike has 5 power assist settings. In my opinion, each setting feels like a torque setting. The higher the setting up to 5, the easier to pedal and less effort. The bike has a throttle for applying power when not peddling but realize this really on works on a flat or downhill gradient. The motor just doesn’t have enough power to drive you around like a moped. For a true biking experience, this bike makes biking so enjoyable! It has 7 gears but I find that I really only use the highest gear because I seldom pedal on flat or downhill slopes. As far as the battery life goes, I can’t give you a definitive answer or real technical specs but anecdotally, my biking has never exceeded the battery life. My longest bike ride was 2 hours. Overall, this bike has been a game changer for me. I’m not getting any younger and biking just wasn’t enjoyable for me anymore because of the arduous hills in my areas. Since getting this bike, I find myself on the bike almost everyday. I have a wall bike rack in my garage but it stays on garage floor because I use it so much! I also have to mention the led lights. It has a front headlight with adjustable angle of beam. You can position it to shine way in front of bike or closer to tire down towards road. When activated, the rear, red LED also comes on and is super bright. You also can toggle one more setting to turn on side running LED lights for added visibility at night. Plus, it just looks so cool!

I can't get over how awesome my Schwinn Adult Coston CE 27.5" Step-Thru Hybrid Electric Bike is! This bike is heavy and very well made, everything about it from the comfy seat, to the metal frame, appear to be high quality. Out of the box, this electric bike was fairly easy to put together. It took me about an hour total, and included the tools needed to assemble it. It charges up quickly, and the charge lasts quite awhile. The pedals move nice and freely, and the brakes stop as they should. The headlight is nice and bright and illuminates the street nicely as I ride. I love the option I have of pedaling this bike, like a normal bike, or being able to switch the power on if I don't feel like pedaling up a hill, or I just get tired of pedaling altogether. I look forward to going on many bicycling adventures in the near future with my new bike.
