Bought one for Christmas, battery did not work. Bought a second to replace the first and that battery did not work. 2 for 2 in disappointing my child. Never buying from this company again. Target should pull this product immediately

Does not work! No support snd nonreturnable!
Does not work! No support! Non returnable! All warranty info points to BirdBike but says they no longer support this bike and suggested we contact the manufacturer. No response from them. Basically just wasted $435! Target should take some responsibility for this. The bike is brand new and the battery will not work at all. We are disgusted by the lack of customer service and support!

Didnt make it through one ride
I was really excited for this bike. Belt drive, good design, app integration. Unfortunately the pedal assist sensor broke on my first ride (plastic ring that spins to trigger the sensor cracked). The part is proprietary and Bird no longer provides support or warranties for this bike after they went through bankruptcy proceedings. Sadly I am returning it.

Don't buy bird!
No live customer service support. The battery died and I was told in an email to find a repair shop. Currently have a useless product, wasted hundreds of dollars.

The whole is significantly lesser than the sum of its parts
I own this bike in V frame. Bird wants $2000 for it, I got it on sale for $800, this is maybe a $500 bike. Which is a shame, because the components are great, it's just put together poorly. It's heavy. The welds are poorly done. The clapper on the bell fell off when I first rang it. The motor cuts out whenever it feels like it. Assembling it is trickier than you think: you have to have some means of holding the nuts on the front skewer static. And finally, Bird WILL NOT honour a manufacturer's warranty if you buy it through a third party (like Target). Save yourself the heartache and buy a Lectric or something.
