Chicago-based photographer Sandro Miller (born 1958) has photographed both the famous and the anonymous, from celebrities such as John Malkovich to a series on female cancer survivors. On Earth as It Is Not in Heaven is his tribute to humankind. The portraits collected here are of actors, athletes, celebrities and ordinary people of every culture, race and gender--all of whom are experiencing life as it has been dealt to them.
