Disappointed

I bought the Odyssey G3 and it has an amazing image and game play. However...3 months later it no longer loaded into OS. Instead it cycles between Display Port and HDMI endlessly trying to connect. After connecting it to 2 other PCs it does the same thing. I replaced graphic card... no change. I replaced CPU... no change. I tried to update software. Support does not recognize my model number. So now it sits in a corner of the room collecting dust bunnies and cobwebs.

Your next gaming monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough about this monitor, the graphics were amazing, I swear it raised my COD, kill count. I'm talking like 39 and 4. Chris clear fast reacting, everything you would want in a gaming monitor, plus things you didn't know you wanted because you haven't had them from your TV or your other monitors. If you take video gaming seriously, or are even just a "weekend warrior" this is the monitor for you dare I say the last one you're ever going to need. Highly recommend.

This monitor is nearly perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this monitor for gaming and sometimes studies. This monitor has been an excellent choice so far. It's been a night and day difference since i upgraded from my old monitor. Apart, from some small ghosting that only can be seen if you really focus on it, Response times are great, colors are punchy and the overall feel and hands-on experience with the monitor has been a been blast.

A reliable piece of hardware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor itself had a very decent build quality. But the good stops there. There's a lot of ghosting on the panel and scrolling on it looks smeary and almost blurry. I'd say it's fair for the price, but would still recommend the G6 or higher.

This product works well

The quality is awesome way better than playing on my old beat up laptop. One thing that I did have a problem with is how long it would take to boot my games up.

Not good for things like productivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 24” G30D Odyssey Gaming Monitor is a complete letdown for productivity. Its 24-inch size feels way too small for multitasking, making it a pain to split screens or work on detailed projects. The curved design, while cool for gaming, distorts documents and spreadsheets, which is super frustrating. Plus, with only 1080p resolution, text looks blurry, and it strains your eyes during long work hours. The lack of ergonomic adjustability is another issue—it’s impossible to set up comfortably, leading to bad posture over time. To top it off, the oversaturated colors meant for gaming are useless for tasks that need accurate color representation, like editing. Overall, it’s clear this monitor prioritizes gaming over productivity, making it a poor choice for work-related tasks.

Broke after over a year of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor was originally 144 hertz but after a year, it randomly broke and can't go over 60. Warranty is 1 year so it expired and couldn't do anything about it.

Good Monitor. But with one major issue!

This monitor is pretty good with a few exceptions. The monitor is a perfect size for me with not being to big that I would have to sit far away from it. I also love the freedom to be able to tilt, rotate, and adjust the monitor's height. But there is one major problem that caused me to return the product (I bought it on Amazon), the VA panel. The type of panel this monitor uses is a VA panel which is known to have horrible ghosting/smearing when there is motion on the screen. Whenever I watch a youtube video or play games that have lots of motion, it is very clear that there is lots of smearing on the image when it's moving. This was a complete deal breaker for me as it's hard not to notice the problems once you see them. This would be the perfect monitor if it came with an IPS panel instead of a VA panel.

It's not bad but....

Controls for the monitor menu is nice and easy to use unlike many others that can be very annoying. I use it mainly for gaming and eventually will be my second monitor. The but is you can literally get a cheaper brand for lower price and potentially slightly better specs.

Not Great

Always looks yellow no matter what settings I use. Stand is nice, but picture is worse than the monitor I was replacing from 2012. Insane.
