Battery only lasts 1 day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although ring battery is advertised to last 7 days, within a few months the battery only lasts 1 day. Diagnostics indicates faulty battery after just 9 months usage.

Love my Galaxy Ring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price was my only deterrent in the beginning, but I'm grateful for the convenience of this device when I can't, or sometimes don't want to, wear my Galaxy Watch. The battery life is pretty good, and it recharges in the case fairly quickly. The light display around the ring base, indicating the current charge available in the case, or the charging level of the ring when inserted, is a nice touch as well. That I am able to keep track of my activity throughout the day helps to keep me more accountable towards my fitness goals.

Worked ok for 6 months
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ring is 18 months old. Sent it in for repair after 6 months of use as it would not stay connected to my Samsung phone. For the last 4 months it won't hold a charge overnight. Very disappointing!!!!

All the good of a smart watch - none of the bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When smart watches first came out I got myself one. I thought it would be cool to get the health data & notifications while being able to leave my phone where it belongs - in my pocket. This was a mistake. They looked goofy. The battery died far too frequently. Being more accessible though my wrist? Total mistake. The health tracking data was nice though, but at the time it couldn't possibly make up for the downsides. My galaxy ring was an attempt to get back into wearables without the distraction. Problems solved, we kept the good in the health tracking, dropped the bad in the notifications, and fixed the fixable with the battery life being actually usable. Good stuff samsung. Its an example of good tech. Does its job, requires near no maintenence and is total stealth mode. I can now keep my nice fancy watch but get the benefits of all the new age data.

Maybe 2.0 will be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the ring totally fail in 9 months. Battery issue apparently, which seems chronic in the design. The replacement is fine so far, but it hasn't been that long yet. This aside, I have to say it's kind of just okay feature wise. It basically does sleep tracking for me. For steps, the Watch is much more accurate. The gestures are kind of useful, notably dismissing alarms. I tried using it to take pictures/videos, but it keeps accidentally triggering. Too hard to avoid in that use case IMO.

Battery issues
Better failure. I'm surprised to see this same comment from other users. I've used all Samsung products (except the VR headsets) which I was about to purchase. The experience with this ring has really been disappointing. The battery used to last a week and now last a few hours at best. This happened all at once and it of nowhere. Support has been as disappointing as everyone else has noticed.

Do not buy....
I bought the ring in October 2024... in 1 year it wouldn't work anymore. I was just in time for the warranty to kick in. With the new ring I received, in received 3 additional months on warranty. My new stopped working after 2 months. Since then, I exchanged 3 rings! I am on my 4th, and I am one month into the warranty.. let's just say I do not have my hopes up. This ring is a total disappointment. Other than that, the golden ring i got looks plastic, but really resistant at scratches.

So far so good
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring and so far, I’m really impressed. The battery life is a big win, it lasts about 4–5 days on a single charge, even with me wearing it nonstop. I keep it on while washing dishes and showering, and it holds up well without any issues. The insights it provides are great, very similar to what I get from my smartwatch, but honestly, better in some ways since my watch usually dies in under 48 hours. Having something smaller and longer-lasting is super convenient. My only real complaint is the style. I chose the black version because it matches everything, but I do wish there were more color or design options beyond just silver and gold. It would be nice if we could customize or change the color to fit different looks. Overall, it’s a great device, functional, comfortable, and reliable. Just hoping for more style options in the future

One year Ring
This was a great buy at first. I was warned that it will eventually be useless as a wearable and just fad into being just a ring. I bought two, one for my wife as well. Sure enough, after a year of use, the charge got shorter and shorter and it finally stop charging on both devices. We loved the fit, style and functionality when it worked. Afterwards, we no longer wear them. We would have given it a 5 star but the lack of durability, knocks two stars off.

Comfortable, good battery, good readings
This seems to trackovemennt well. I get a lot of steps in a day and it seems to keep track well. I don't work out, I'm just active so I can't report on the workout tracking. I think the sleep tracking is accurate. The ring is lightweight and comfortable. I wear it working construction and it shows no scratches or wear yet, with almost 3 weeks of use.

Works great until it doesnt.
I purchased this ring for sleep tracking. I purchased mostly due to samsungs great trade in offers and no monthly payments like some other ring brands. I noticed at first it was a bit glitchy but the first update took care of any issues I had and added some features along the way. I ordered a size 14 my wife a size 10. I saw a huge difference in the battery capacity in both rings. The smaller size lasted about 4 days before having to recharge. The larger one about 6 days. Understandable due to the battery size differences. My wife's ring started randomly draining in less than 2 days at the 10 month mark. Then eventually at the 11th month it wouldn't last a single day. We reached out to Samsung support and at first they said we were over our 1 yr warranty period. Upon providing a reciept they assessed the ring and sent a replacement free of charge. The larger ring was still holding charge at around 6 days. When the ring hit the 13 month mark that dropped to 4 days. I am at the 15 month mark and I am down to 3 days of charge. I am not sure how much longer the ring will be usable. While I understand batteries degrade over time. The ring seems to go down hill around the 1 yr mark. Looking online this seems to be a well documented problem. Samsung should really extend the factory warranty to cover the abnormal battery deterioration and show that they stand behind their products and their customers.
