Q: How do you fill them? I tried to get the black rubber bottom by twisting but it didn't work.

A: Hello Victoria - We appreciate your interest for this item. To fill the Salt and Pepper Holders Copper Finish with Magnolia line, you generally need to unscrew or pull off the top of the unit, not twist the bottom black rubber part. I hope it helps - Juliette.

I have been looking for a pinch pot and nowhere does it show or say these are shakers. They are the perfect size and so beautiful and I am so disappointed they are shakers. I considered keeping them as shakers but the rubber bottom seems near impossible to remove

Well made but not what I was looking for.
Cute but….I was expecting salt and pepper cellars and these are not. They are salt and pepper shakers (the tops are sealed and have perforated holes). In addition they are much smaller than I was expecting. Depending on what you’re looking for they are well made.
