Ryka Women's Devotion X Max RS Walking Shoes

I've been wearing Ryka for years! Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They come in Wide widths, which I need. I have styles for walking, workouts, & casual wear.

I normally love my Ryka, however This shoe was loose in the heel and kept slipping up and down I had to return it.

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes feel great.

On my feet all day and these are the most comfortable I have ever worn.

One thing in particular I was looking forward to was toe room, and finally this brand delivers. However, what I also hoped for was motion control and arch support comparable to the Brooks I have worn for years (this isn’t the only Ryka shoe I’m trying). Unfortunately this sneaker is not comparable to Brooks to prevent over pronation and support my arches, and in fact it seems to encourage over-pronation. It’s great that Ryka realized women need wider toe boxes than men, but it’s extremely disappointing that the pronation/supination prevention just isn’t present. Women are the majority of patients with connective tissue disorders and we require motion control shoes. Please consider research and development of a true motion control sneaker with the wider toe box you have already solved, Ryka. I’m sad to be returning these and squeezing my abused toes back into women’s motion control Brooks, but I have to be on my feet and these sneakers actually cause over pronation and don’t support my arch. Hope this review helps anyone with a connective tissue disorder.

This shoe is all around perfect in my book! It not only provides comfort when power walking but, it gives you everything needed support, traction, cushion and the light ability as you walk maintains and accomplishing a “feel great” afterward feeling.

This shoe did not have enough support and cushioning for me. I walk from 1-2,hours.

Loses Firmness Quickly

I got these shoes yesterday and I have barely removed them from my feet. They perfectly fit for me which I rarely say about shoes. My left foot is recovering from 3 of my toes being fractured about 10 weeks ago.The Ryka’s are fine with my foot where with other shoes I have to really loosen the shoestrings. I‘ve already had compliments on them. I usually wear Hokas Bondis and Rykas aren’t as cushiony as the Bondis but I realized I may not need so much cushion when you can get this kind of fit. Also, helped with my balance. I was worried that the Windsor Red would be an overly bright red. They are not that red but a much better color - exactly as my screen shows and in person they could be called burgundy. Thank you Ryka.

I have tried numerous times to find a shoe that fits my foot perfectly. This is it!! It's extremely comfortable and perfect for my daily walk - 3 to 5 miles.

Ryka shoes are so comfortable with all the cushioning and support they have, I can work all day in them. I feel so good in them I have taken to walking again after work and my feet are not tired. These are great shoes, I can't say enough about them!!

These sneakers provide great cushioning, and support. They are very comfortable and look nice too.

I walk and stand at work a lot and my feet and back started hurting every time I wore them.

I was looking for a cheaper shoes but same good quality. My hips had been hurting because the very popular name brand shoe I was wearing I wore out very quickly and my hips were hurting. As a single mom who never spends money on herself I knew I had to make the shoe last and be worth the price. So I found Ryka and decided it was a very good price and to give them a try. I have been wearing my sneakers non stop for a couple weeks and I have no hip pain and they are cute and still look like new. Worth every penny I will plan to buy another pair in the future when the time is right.

First pair of Rykas I've ordered and I am in love so far. They are so comfortable, which I usually don't find with most shoes. I can't wait to order more Rykas. I hope they are as durable as they are comfortable. Only time will tell about that.

Tried these on in a store but ordered from the website to get a better color selection and this one is great. My feet are still getting used to all the support. I did a bit of a job in them and they were pretty good. im excited to put more miles on them

I ordered these shoes during a bout of Plantar Fasciitis. We were going to London and knew we were going to do a lot of walking. The shoes were very comfortable and my foot didn’t hurt at all. I love the color and they are stylish.

Great fit,as usual. Haven’t tested these out yet, but as sure they will perform well.
