Not ideal for outside.
this is now our 4th one. it's great for a few months. it does stretch but the biggest problem is the cotton ropes. they tear after a while because of Florida weather. I wished they would use Polyester or Paracord so the weather won't ruin it. I never make it a year and have to replace it.

Rope Ripped
After less than 1 year of owning it, and maybe 4 months of it being outside, the ropes that attach to the hooks all started ripping. This hammock is not made with rope that is good quality enough to be used outside, would not recommend buying this unless you only want one season's use out of it. Also, Target, this falls under the warranty, please contact me, I'd like a new one!!!

Good Basic Hammock
I read some other reviews saying it wasn't long enough for their stand or it was too short to lay on. The first person must not understand how to add a couple bits of chain link for $5, and the other person must be 8' tall. I'm 6'0" and 215 pounds and it works perfect for me, with about a foot to spare. Not a high end hammock, but perfectly serviceable for a $70 basic rope hammock. Definitely would buy again.
