The honey flavor makes it easier for kids to take, and it helped calm coughing so they could sleep more comfortably. I also like that it’s long-lasting and gentle enough for nighttime use. Definitely something I’d keep on hand during cold season.

My husband and daughter both tried the Robutussin Severe Multi-Symptom Maximum Strength Cold and Cough syrup when they were both feeling sick. My daughter took a little bit before she went to work one day and said it didn't make her tired and it helped with her head cold and it helped her feel a little better while she was at work. My husband used it for 3 days with his cold and he swears it's what helped him get better quicker. He loved that he was able to use some before heading to work as well and that it didn't leave him feeling tired and lethargic. He didn't care for the flavor however, he had to drink something after he would take some and he stated it left a bad aftertaste for about 5 minutes afterwards. I will probably buy this as an additional medicine to use during cold and cough season.

Works good enough to get some sleep. In the morning I am able to blow out accumulation in a hot shower. So it does thin things out good enough to get rid of it.

Recently came down with a cold that ended up being the Flu , this product helped get my symptoms under control fast. It’s a pain reducer, cough suppressant and decongestant in one. No it doesn’t taste like candy but it does go down quick and gets the job done! I highly suggest you have this stocked all year round .

And all I remember is that it tasted absolutely disgusting because it was very, very thick and not good. However, when I tried this Robitussin, maximum strength, severe multisystem, cold, cough, and flu that was not the case. It was easy to take and actually worked towards producing my cough and loosening up the mucus. I can say that by taking this cold medicine, I was not as miserable as I usually am when I have a cold. With that being said, this is a new formula of Robitussin called CF max. It is designed to help with cough, sore throat, loosen mucus, chest congestion, and has a pain reliever for headaches and soreness associated with flu symptoms.
