Step 1 Mix : Pour ammonia-free colorant in cream developer bottle. Shake until mixture is completely blended.
Step 2 Apply : Part hair into 4 equal sections. Apply mixture to root area at each parting. Don't rub into scalp.
Step 3 Leave in : Leave the mixture on hair for 25 minutes total. For resistant gray hair, leave on for extra 10 minutes. For blonde shades, add an extra 20 minutes to total processing time.
Step 4 Rinse : Add a little warm water to hair and gently massage color mixture through hair. Rinse hair completely.
Step 5 Conditioning: Apply the ultra-hydrating cream conditioner after color application. Leave on for 3 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Fool proof!
Great at home product. Easy to use and gives you a good even all over color. It even covers the gray! Inexpensive too. Comes with an after care conditioner that makes your hair silky smooth!

Great dye!
This dye is great for the price! It’s pretty thick so it doesn’t drip and I can do things around the house while it sets. It’s simple and easy to use and doesn’t take up too much time. I usually have to dye my hair every 2 to 4 weeks and this is always a great option

Bad batch
after 33 years of use, I got a bad batch of hair coloring number 41. when I opened up the box tonight the coloring was already dark in the brown bottle instead of the light tan it should have been. what a waste of time and now I have to diet all over again tomorrow morning. I haven't looked in the other box. I'm hoping this one isn't bad also. I would add images but it won't work below

Good for grays
This does a good job coloring grays which is the main reason I use this product. It last for about 4 weeks before they grays pop back. This makes your hair feel very soft and look shiny. I’d recommend using this.

I have used Revelon before, I love the ammonia free. The mixing and application process are easy. This is a beautiful color, it was a bit brighter than I usually use. I do wish they would include a little more conditioner so I could use it over my next next couple of washes.

Pleasantly surprised with results!
I am very impressed with this product. I avoid coloring my hair because I never like the results but I loved my results right away. I feel like this color has depth and is the closest I have ever gotten to the natural hair color I once had yrs ago. The applicator is amazing and the gel consistency is awesome. I have zero scalp stains. I could have totally left the house right after coloring my hair because it looked natural right out of the shower. Not messy. Not itchy at all!! Disnt even think about it during the wait period. Did chores without having to itch my scalp at all. No odors. No stains on my face (I did apply rose hip oils around my hair line). Loved the included conditioner. It’s magical. The hair just untangles immediately after you apply it. Super happy and will judge longevity of the color and feel of my hair in the days to come but 12 hrs in I am impressed compared to previous experiences with other colors.

Prefer mixing over a box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Application seems to be pretty easy… And you can cover up your roots quite well, but the color never lasts as long as I’d like it too and then also of course the smell isn’t as pleasant but when you’re coloring your hair, it is what it is. I would say the only thing that I love is after dying my hair and using the conditioner my hair seems to be super soft and luxe for a couple days until it gets dry.

Hair color

I like that they color is easy to find so I can use the same color on my roots every couple of weeks and not worry about roots.
