The horror continues in the ground-breaking Resident Evil 7. Step into the new Isolated View and experience true survival horror in a world created by the all-new RE Engine.

Resident Evil Village - picking up where Resident Evil 7 biohazard left off, Resident Evil Village is the eighth major installment in the flagship Resident Evil series. The game sees the reunited Ethan and Mia Winters living happily together and putting their shared night mares of the Baker's plantation behind them... until their life is upended and Ethan becomes the focal point of a new nightmare.

Q: Is this Key-Game-Card?

submitted by Flashwave - 6 months ago
  • A: Some games are going to be over the 64gb max gb card the switch 2 had so inevitably the key card is always going to exist on this platform but rumor the smaller cards are in progress to help the keyca

submitted byJoshuahumanpooopeathood - 3 months ago
  • A: At least it's not the cloud version, I'll take a full download over streaming anything.

  • A: Yes it is for sure will be

submitted byGamekeycard - 3 months ago
  • A: Yes. They are game key cards. Previous answer only said Physical Edition because technically, Key Cards ARE physical items.

Q: Does each game have a separate cartridge or are all 3 games on one?

submitted by KristiM - 4 months ago
  • A: There are 3 seperate game cards included, but the number of games contained on each card is a total of 0. Note the white bar on the bottom of each game’s cover, that is to signify that these are ‘Game Key Cards’. Basically, ‘Game Key Cards’ are full digital downloads of games that force you to ‘play pretend’ with empty game cards. Full size online downloads of each game are provided when inserting each card, but absolutely 0 game data is contained on the cards themselves. Despite this, the cards are still required to be inserted in the system while playing, acting as ‘pretend’ physical. It is most likely that a ‘micro SD express card’ is required for the large amount of system storage required for 3 full size game downloads, which adds $100+ to the price of these games. It is also important to note that standard micro SD cards are not compatible with the Switch 2 system, and a micro SD ‘express’ card specifically must be used.

submitted bySonic - 3 months ago
  • A: The Switch 2 has 256 GB of onboard storage which is more than enough for all three games. RE7 is about 20GB, RE8 is about 25GB, and RE9 about 30GB. This comes with 3 GKCs to help manage storage space.

submitted byBort - 3 months ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Resident Evil Generation Pack - Nintendo Switch 2. For the Resident Evil Generation Pack on the Nintendo Switch 2, the physical version uses a new format called Game Key Cards rather than traditional "all-on-cartridge" data. Here is the breakdown of how the games are distributed in that pack: The Cartridge Situation One Box, Three Cards: The physical "Ejected Edition" or retail bundle typically comes in a single collector’s box, but it contains three separate Game Key Cards (one for each game). What is a "Game Key Card"? Unlike original Switch cartridges that contain the full game data, these Switch 2 Key Cards act as a physical license. When you insert the card, it triggers a full digital download of the game. Why? The total file size for all three games—Resident Evil 7 Gold, Resident Evil Village Gold, and Resident Evil Requiem—is estimated to be over 270GB. This is far too large to fit onto even the largest standard Nintendo Switch 2 cartridges. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Resident Evil Generation pack - Target drops ball yet again.

My review isn’t based on the actual game itself, as I haven’t even received it yet. This review is strictly about Target and their inability to properly ship a pre-ordered item on time. I placed my pre-order for the Resident Evil Generation Pack about three weeks before its release date, expecting a smooth and timely delivery. Instead, the arrival date has been pushed back multiple times, and now it simply shows as “delayed” with no updated estimate or communication. It’s extremely disappointing because I was genuinely excited to add this to my Nintendo Switch collection. For context, I’ve already played Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, and I can confidently say the game itself is fantastic, which makes this situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, a close friend of mine also pre-ordered the Switch version and is experiencing the exact same issue. This clearly isn’t an isolated case. Overall, very disappointing experience with Target. Pre-ordering is supposed to guarantee you get the product on time, not leave you in the dark with delays and no answers.

Great games. Love Resident Evil games on Switch. Story and Graphics are awesome running mostly at 60fps. Great value for the quality titles included in the generation pack. Target delivered on released date. I received my preorder bonus as well. Always a pleasure buying from Target.

    Disappointing Delivery

I'm really disappointed with the delivery service of target, I preordered this in the beginning of January and still haven't received it. It just says delayed, and I have not clue when or if I'll ever even receive it, I was really excited to play this. I recommend getting this somewhere other than target.

worst pre order and out of stock

Package arrived but no game inside . UPS delivered the package but there was a tear on the package where it was tampered with and they even took the time with placing tape over the tear. Just to advise it was like for a while since the crease where it was taped had been formed .

Extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. It was due here a week ago and now my purchase just says "Delayed" with absolutely no estimated date. I tried to contact the company, but the "contact" button takes you to a glorified FAQ devoid of human operator options!

    Unfulfilled Pre-Order

Never pre-ordering via Target again. Unreliable, package was delayed twice with no support to figure out where the package is/was. They're quick to take the money for the order and then fail to deliver the paid for product. Not to mention the delay to refund your money.

Made the mistake of pre-ordering from target

Not only did target ship this incredibly late so it did not arrive on day of release, they also shipped it in a thin plastic mailer so it arrived totally smashed. Thanks target. My collectable item that is now out of stock everywhere is ruined, and my only option is to refund. Awesome shopping experience.

I'm really happy! Target didn't disappoint. It arrived on launch day without any problems. The game is amazing and it's my favorite series, and getting three games for a fair price is even better. I'm very happy with this. Thank you!

    Horrible Pre-order Experience

Target is the absolute worst place to pre-order anything. It wasn’t until the day before this product was supposed to be released that I was told it would be delayed by two whole weeks. I’ve had this pre-ordered for months now. If I’m pre-ordering an item, I want it on day one. Unacceptable.
