    Great design but has long-term function issues

    Purchasing my 3rd device in 3 years due to stability issues. Love the product which is why I'm buying to replace the current one which is not functioning properly. On the first one, after I rinsed it and left to dry and then use a few days later it would sputter (start / stop). On the second one, I decided not to wash but then after close to a year of use thought it would be ok but immediately after rinsing, it did the same thing. So this time, I will not rinse at all and hope it lasts longer. Other than that, this is a great product!

    Works well but quality could be better

    The trimmer works well and is easy to use. I also really like the different types of short guards they provide. The durability isn’t great as the guards seem to break easily. Also the ability to hold a charge has been a problem at times as it seems that it is inconsistent. Also leaving the trimmer on the charger caused issues with the charge. Overall it is a good product but you probably need to count on replacing a guard or two every 6 months.

    Works incredibly well!

    I have been using this curved trimmer for approximately 3 years now and I love it. I keep my hair super short and this trimmer is so light and quick to use, that I can buzz my head in about a minute. It trims cleanly and consistently. The pleasant surprise is that, to because of the curve, it doubles as an excellent body hair trimmer. I use it to trim chest hair, and to completely shave back and arm hair. Again, it cuts clean and close and is so ergonomic. My only wish is that they would release a dedicated back hair trimmer with this curve, paired with a long handle to facilitate DIY back trimming. Awesome product and I hope they never discontinue it.

    Perfect Solution

    This item has been a dream find! I didn't want to go with a shaver, and wanted something that would be easy and fast to use, cordless, and rechargeable. It covers all those bases, and is reliable and easy enough to use without a mirror if necessary. Absolutely excellent haircuts in under 5 minutes.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the Remington HC4250 Shortcut Pro Self-Haircut Kit, and it’s dope for quick buzz cuts! The ergonomic grip and wide blade make it super easy to use, it’s waterproof, so cleanup’s a breeze, and the 40-minute battery life’s solid (corded option’s clutch too). Comes with 9 combs for short cuts, but don’t expect fancy fades—it’s best for simple, clean looks.

    Short life battery..16 months

    Bought December of 2023. Love the design and cut of this shaver. Battery only lasted 16 months. Not sure if I will by another with the battery life so short. Battery needs to be upgraded or exchangeable

    Great Clipper

    I love this clipper shaver. It’s just what I needed to replace my corded clippers and trimmer. The compact size is just great. I couldn’t be happier. This cuts really close but doesn’t give me the shiny bald head look. Remington did a fantastic job designing this one.

    So far, great clipper.

    I recently received this clipper. I have been using the 2.0 mm-5/16 guard comb with the clipper to get a tight short hair cut. I have no complaints. I can cut my hair perfectly in all locations, even around my ears where some said it was a bit difficult to do. I did not have that issue. I also like the fact the HC4250 model came with guard combs in 0.5 mm increments for the short guard combs. There is 1/16”(1.5 mm), 5/64”(2 mm), 3/32”(2.5 mm) and 1/8”(3 mm). I also like fact I can buy replacement guard combs. All clippers I have ever owned have had the guard combs wear out or break. Using this clipper is much better than a corded one as you don’t have to deal with the cord unplugging or twisting up. So far no problem with battery life or cutting quality after about 5 uses.

    Head shaver.

    Great product, big step up from using a smaller edge/detail trimmer for self haircuts. Does not go as short as the detail without guard though but it is infinitely easier. Will be a hardly noticeable difference.

    Love it hate it!!!!

    I love this shaver but in the same time I hate it because I keep going through one a little over a year when my warranty runs it stops working so far. I’m on my third one. The only reason I keep buying them is because I can’t find anyone else that works Like yours. Now I have called to see if it could be replaced, but all I get is it’s over a year I would appreciate it if anyone can do something about this problem and please get in touch with me if you can.

    My second one. I'll never sell it again!

    This is my second ShortCut shaver. I used the first for about 5 years and then decided to sell it and try a different brand. The goal was to use one shaver for both cutting and trimming. That was a big mistake. There is nothing better to cut your own hair very short but not shaved. The variety of combs and the ergonomics of the ShortCut's shape are unique.
