Refurbished Can Be A Gamble

The laptop looks great and runs great… but the built-in camera must have gone on vacation before it got to me. Windows couldn’t find it. BIOS couldn’t find it. HP couldn’t find it. At one point my printer tried to volunteer as tribute and show up as the camera, which honestly told me everything I needed to know. 😂 After multiple device manager resets, full HP Image Assistant scans, and BIOS-level checks, it’s clear the internal camera never worked in the first place. I finally bought an external webcam so I can attend meetings like a normal human. For the price, it’s a strong machine, but buyers should know the “refurbished” part can be a gamble. Mine came with a disappearing camera act.
