About the Author

Robert Metz received his degree in political science and economics from Georgetown University in 1974 and his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law in 1977. He practiced law for many years, owned several real estate brokerage offices, and published a foreclosure and bankruptcy magazine in the 1990's.

Metz has been a principal and consultant in scores of real estate transactions and workouts throughout New Jersey. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and workshops. He writes from a unique and candid hands-on and academic perspective; authoritative knowledge; and real-world know-how and expertise.
